Staff and location was wonderful!

The staff were friendly and very pleasant, Unfortunately the circumstance of the stay involved a bereavement, but the staff were wonderful.

This is our second stay at Atholl hotel and again it was lovely, the staff are friendly and helpful. My only gripe was the pillows, they were too soft for my liking. We had an evening meal this time and it was lovely, portions were a good size.

Visited various hotels in Aberdeen over the years and have to say that the breakfast selection and quality of food is the best we have experienced.

Pretty average hotel stay. Not a bad place to stay. We were only there one night. The only negative would have been that it was the only place we stayed that struggled with a little mold on the shower caulking.

Lovely hotel with comfortable room. Quiet hotel. Good location. Plenty of parking. Dinner was lovely but breakfast was exceptional

The property was very grand, some public areas need a bit of looking after, eg scuff marks on some of the walls. The eating areas where well maintained and very popular with residents and the locals and appeared quite busy every time we were there. Our room was quite small and was disappointing not what we would expect of a four star hotel, the decor was plane and lacked any wow factor and was very plain, the amenities in the room where ok. The staff though were lovely and very friendly and seemed to be welcoming to all, a few of the guests seemed to be regular visitors. We had a lovely stay and would happily return.

Comfortable bed in good sized room with large bathroom. No view from windows, looked out onto a wall. Excellent breakfast.

Nice spacious rooms. Comfortable and the staff were extremely nice.

Breakfast was excellent with Poached egg at exact tender and still warm with the fish cooked to perfection. Recommend this for your Vrakfast and you won't be dissatisfied.

It was a grey, dreich weekend in Aberdeen, but the Atholl was warm and cosy throughout. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. We will definitely return!

Phone and ask about accessibility if you have mobility issues. Lots of stairs and limited lift access

Booked a one night stay with dinner and breakfast to attend a show on one of the busiest nights of the year. Staff courteous and organised. Meal exactly what we would want and well presented and served. All good.

Everything about this property was great, except the beds. It was like sleeping on the floor. The mattress was very hard.

This hotel is a favourite of mine. If I need accommodation in Aberdeen then this establishment is my go to. It’s got a family run sort of feel and many of the staff have been there for years which speaks volumes. I overheard a gentleman checking in who last stayed there 10 years ago and was saying how nice it was to be back. Nuff said.
