An excellent place to say with very pleasant and helpful staff.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was excellent. The bar, restaurant and patio area were great. An all-round fantastic place to stay.

Everything about our stay was fabulous. The room was very spacious and spotlessly clean. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. I had a problem with the radiator in the bathroom. I mentioned it at reception and within minutes someone was there to sort the problem. Food exception! The evening meal choices and quality of the food in the restaurant was fantastic, as was the breakfast. Highly recommend The Craven Heifer.

Room was lovely - good food and staff so helpful

We arrived quite late, having travelled up after a long week of hard work. Although we missed the opportunity to eat, we had a drink and retired to our room. Walked through a very pleasant looking outdoor seating with well landscaped gardens and ambient lighting, Even by the entrance to the block where our room was, there was a couple of chairs and we did have a sit for a while, as it was a very warm evening. Our 'Superior King' room was a very nice surprise, most don't live up to the billing. This room was and felt luxurious, substantial and very clean, throughout. The bathroom and amenities all of a high standard, all helps in unwinding. We watched some TV and slept well in the very comfortable bed. Breakfast was a real treat with a selection of fresh cooked options, including my choice - smoked haddock, with poached egg, spinach and Hollandaise sauce. My husband's choice of vegetarian breakfast was also excellent. Piping hot coffees and freshly brewed tea rounded off a lovely overnight and set us up for a day wandering and chilling out. We are looking forward to when we next find ourselves in this part of England. We will make a beeline for the Craven Heifer Inn.

Friendly staff. Nice atmophere. Spacious room with tasteful decor and a comfy bed. Food was good. If I was in the area I would stay here again.

Excellent pub and accommodation

Great stay, fantastic breakfast, fantastic evening meal, friendly staff. Room could be a bit bigger and bathroom needs some TLC.

On site free parking was convenient. Room and bar restaurant were all very clean. All staff we interacted with were very helpful and friendly.

Terrible: There were many things that were problematic. The room is tiny and had slanting walls all around( banged my head twice). You have to take your bags out, walk in the rain to reception fir check-in and then take your bags and walk in the rain for the room. There is no fan in the room and the pillows were seriously stiff. Bad: Breakfast was fixed menu and was ok, I wish i had English breakfast as it liked great but sadly I had Egg Benedict with very hard did egg yolks (saw it for the first time). But having committed the crime of coding a wing menu, I couldn't go back to full English. Then, asked the lady fir vide and toast and she disappeared. Good: The bathroom was top notch, cleaning was great. Some of the staff was very welcoming. Coffee was very good. Views from window were beautiful.
