The property, pool and courtyard has been allowed to fall into disrepair. The pooo had mild all over the floor and the court yard around the pool area was filthy. The maintenance crew, left their equipment lying around to trip over and the pre swim shower system adjacent to the pool was not operational. All in all, a large letdown.

It’s hotel has a beautiful exterior, but the room we had was tiny - scarcely enough room for the bed and very poorly decorated. Feels like a hostel room but charges three star prices

The rooms need air conditioning esp with the hot weather now prevalent in Europe in the summer.

Friendliness of staff. Location and character of buildings , pool , gardens etc.

Beautiful property, restaurant, bar, pool etc. Rooms rather small.

Very small room would be fine but with no AC was very uncomfortable, also, no shower

Great location in centre of Lectoure. Beautiful old building and town. Only problem was that the room was tiny for a double room. Also we were given a room with a courtyard view rather than a "city view"or countryside view, which I suspect may have accounted for the small room.Only one night stay so didn't matter too much. Excellent evening meal.

We felt that customer service was not their first priority and when there was a problem with my meal it was very difficult to attract attention from any of the staff. At the end of the meal a man who I am not sure was the owner or manager came over to tell me that the problem with my meal was not the fault of the hotel and that they had replaced that dish. It felt as if he had meant to apologise but couldn't quite manage it and ended up being quite offensive. Also he was wearing a sweater and scarf when serving dinner, going in and out of the kitchen etc; not the most professional or hygienic pratice in my opinion. The drive into the hotel was very difficult with old narrow streets and sharp turns. The rooms were clean but very basic and it would have been nice to have a kettle in the room. Also the room safe was not fixed to the wall. I think that probably the owners are trying to do a good job but could do with some customer service training.

Very nice hotel with an amazing restaurant. If you're staying in Lectoure, this is definitely a nice place to stay at !

This is a very nice hotel in a charming city. Very good food. An enjoyable and worthwhile stay at a location which might be overlooked.

Lovely setting and friendly staff. Room didn’t have kettle so missed being able to make coffee in the morning.

Delightful grand old building with superb restaurant. Spacious terrace and outdoor pool. Room itself quite small. Location in centre of old town of Lectoure is wonderful and provision of an on-site garage very helpful.

Having experienced this hotel in the past, we were disappointed by the re-vamped rooms: the level of the cooking and the inexperience of the waiting staff. The hotel, location and facilities have greater potential than the performance we experienced provided.

Only stayed one night nice town plenty of restaurants

Town lovely but small. Hotel has pretty grounds and dining area but rooms are tiny and could use a lot of work to make comfortable. More like a monastery. That said beautiful views.

I was charged 14 euros for parking and was not informed I was going to be charges when I checked in. When I did the reservation I requested free parking and assumed this is what I would get, not so. I think since I did not have breakfast or dinner they wrote me off and charged whatever they could , Stall when we checked out was very unfriendly

Excellent stay at a hotel we first visited some 20 years ago. Great reception service and attention. The restaurant and food excellent and left you with no need to leave the building. In the rooms which were comfortable the only critisism i could find was the curtains did not meet and were not acting as a cut out for the light. Excellent value

Wonderful hotel and excellent restaurant in a lovely town. The owners could not be nicer or more helpful. We enjoyed a superb dinner as well as aperitifs on their lovely outdoor patio. Parking is easy and the town is interesting.

Stayed while walking the Camino, the hotel was comfortable, very clean and the restaurant, fantastic.
