Location is perfect for Attending Shinnyo Lantern Floating Hawaii. It’s an Easy walk to Magic Island/Ala Moana Beach. Ala Moana Center Mall, Hawaii Convention Center, and Don Quixote Super Market. It’s an enormous Hotel,60+ Years old and well maintained.

Room could have been cleaner. The shower curtain had mildew in it.

Check-in was frustrating — the manager made us wait a long time while they fixed paperwork issues on their end. Thankfully, Expedia stepped in and resolved everything quickly without me even having to ask. That’s why I always book with them. The hotel’s location is excellent, right next to the mall, which was super convenient with a toddler. We also appreciated the buffet and on-site convenience store. Just be aware that parking is pricey — about $40 per night.

The room was clean and very nice. We wished there were more than 1 roll of toilet paper provided in the unit.

There are extra fees you have to pay after booking the accommodation, such as a resort fee and check in fee. I booked this accommodation because I thought it’d be cheaper than other options. They also only provide a limited supply of toiletries and will charge you for toilet paper. Overall, people are better off booking through the actual Ala Moana Hotel because it comes out being the same price and you can get house keeping, etc.

The dishwasher did not work. The communication with the rental company, Zelloo, was horrendous - never responding to phone calls or to emails. I will be filing a complaint with the Attorney General's Office of Hawaii and with the Attorney General's Office in Florida as the company Zelloo does not have a broker license to operate in Hawaii. The refregirator stank as if something died in it.

The unit is immaculate and comfortable. I wasn't aware that this was a privately owned unit, meaning the hotel is not responsible for cleaning the room. As a result, hotel staff will not come to your room to clean, replace towels, or restock toilet paper.

Housekeeping is not included unless you want to pay an additional fee...according to the reception desk. When I initially booked the room, the site states check-in was 3pm, but reception desk stated check-in was 4pm. Wallpaper in the room was FILTHY; iron provided but no ironing board; coffee, coffee maker, sweetener in room but not creamer. Some sort of construction/renovations were happening 1 floor above - noisy! Basically, I was told that since I booked through Hotels.com, the room was like a private rental and everything would be basic and bare minimum.

Room and location was fantastic. Amenities great. Loved the restaurant, pool, bar, cafes. Only issue was the lack of response regarding early check in. Arrived at 8.30am (My issue), but check in was 4pm. Emailed multiple times over a few days trying to get an earlier check in. No response. Would recommend this location though.

The private room was perfect location to access everything around it.

Property was fine. It is an outside-managed unit at a condotel, so if you need anything besides check-in and parking, you would have to call outside managers, not the front desk.

The room was clean and better than we expected. A great view and we got to enjoy the fireworks show which was welcomed surprise! We enjoyed being able to walk to the mall which was so convenient. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again!

We wanted to try out a new location. We had a car to drive to the beach but there is one not too far if you're walking.

Dirty. Very small. Smells of smoke. Dirty sheets. Only full beds. Do not ever stay at the Ala Moana Condos. They are not a condo Only a scam

Overall experience good. No communication regarding house keeping or clean towels without extra costs.

We travel inter Island several times a year and enjoy not only the accommodations but the access to Ala Moana shopping center as well. Makes our regular medical trips so much more enjoyable.

Clean place. Roomy.

Nice room and location

1901 is near the elevators, but the convenience of the short distance and some of the fastest elevators in existence outweigh the distraction of the elevator noise. This is our third time on the property, and we enjoy the convenience of the location to the center and nearby restaurants.

Awesome stay here for our team, right by ala moana where we can get everything done. Room was very comfortable
