Other than a rolled up shower towel that had soot marks on it I noticed AFTER I dried my face after a shower, the room was clean and tidy. The parking lot is aging quite a bit. The hotel lobby and halls are dated. The back stairwell was propped open and trash had blown in. It was cleaned up by morning. The continental breakfast was adequate.

We never even stayed at the hotel! Had to leave. Both of the rooms have never been cleaned. So dirty!! We asked for the rooms to be cleaned, no one came. We finally had to leave at around 10:45pm because no one was willing to clean our room or remedy the situation. We currently have a case study sent to Expedia because of the horrible conditions and lack of service. We are expecting a refund!

Was I water in shower, toilet ran all night, light on in microwave (had to unplug it) sparks flew when hair dryer plugged in

Okay for the price. Room was clean and staff was helpful and friendly. However, hallways were dirty and not well lit, several doors saying exit led to undesirable makeshift storage and the parking lot was littered with glass and misc garbage. Overall it was okay.

Extremely run down. My shower leaked and covered the entire bathroom with water. My smoke alarm kept going off. Bed sheets were dirty. Floor was dirty. Door didn't close on its own, you had to force it. TV was broken. The whole placed smelled like mold and cat pee. No trash can or anywhere to put your garbage.

I’m giving this property three stars because the staff are amazingly friendly. They had no issues at all moving us to a different room when we experienced an issue with our shower. And the rooms are very clean. The overall property needs to have attention to pay to it. They are updating the rooms, but I’m not sure there was a single exterior door that locked. Some of them didn’t close. The outside in front entrance area are very rundown although I believe they’re being worked on. The main entrance and the breakfast area are nice. And the continental breakfast that was provided was Adequate for the price. I hope they continue to make improvements in our successful since I would hate to see a locally run business.

I think the owners are working toward fixing this place up. The rooms were remodeled and nice. I had the indoor pool to myself both days We stayed. Nice people running the place. The parking lot was very rough

It is an old building but are in the process of redoing. So some of what you jave to walk through os a construction site. All employees are friendly.

It appears renovations are being done to the property with many areas in a state of disrepair. Our room was clean and comfortable but the halls had a odor to them and the drop ceilings are sagging. Walls could use paint. The "breakfast" provided was a joke - waffles, toast and cereal. While that's fairly typical, other hotels have that PLUS eggs, bacon or sausage and hash browns. The hotel has potential and we'd like to see how it turns out if renovations are completed.

Before I book this place, I read reviews(also some new ones) which for most part was promising. I was not expecting a grand top of line 5 star hotel, but I also was not expecting a motel which was going under renovation ( floors was not done, door were off hinges, our bathroom sink had a crack and was leaking beneath! and so on). For the breakfast, it was all from walmart, I did not understand one previous comment which says "Fresh"? Are you serious? The owner/manager was super nice, but with all honesty, I prefer service over that. I hope Expedia comes up with an IDEA to start auditing hotels so reviews will be fair to owners, so to customers. Hope this helps.

One of the beds was not made just a pile of pillows and blankets. Cleaning supplies left in the room but not used. People riding dirt bikes outside the window and midnight. Would it return.

Very clean. Rooms are large. We will be staying there again when we go back.

Great Stay at Presque Isle Inn! I recently stayed at the Presque Isle Inn and had a very good experience. The breakfast was especially good,fresh, tasty, and a great way to start the day. I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Not as advertised! Under construction. Dirty inside and out power went out because of construction. Parking lot has pot holes and uneven ground. Trash in back of building manager was rude and had a hard time speaking English breakfast was very limited and cheap. Never again. Stay away

Great shower heads. Bed comfortable. Terrible signage. Ended up in the basement and laundry area looking for my room. Halls dirty and shabby. Six to eight stairs to get into the lobby and in the hall to get from one section of rooms to another. Hair in the drain and on the edge of the tub. Paint worn down to wood on the toilet seat. Sink scratched and faucet dirty.

No much to like. Very noisy. No blow dryer and not even a box of tissues in the room

Very clean, quiet and comfortable. Good price per night. The front appearance is not so good and had us very worried but it’s a work in progress and they are doing an awesome job with it!
