Beautiful building in a wonderful location and very friendly restaurant staff. There's air conditioning/heating units in the rooms, which is rare for Mexico City. The rainfall shower and water pressure were such great luxuries as well. I loved the overall hotel design - from the furnishings to the architecture. Definitely well-appreciated and well-put together. The restaurant staff, like Ricardo, were especially wonderful and welcoming throughout my stay as well. The downsides were the gaps in the room windows and doors that let in mosquitos and noise. In addition, the front-desk was a bit rude sometimes - specifically they wouldn't let another friend into my hotel (I had booked the hotel saying there would just be one person, but then when my friend wanted to drop her stuff off in my room and shower before her AirBnB's check in was available, I asked if they could let her in and I told them I'd be happy to pay for the extra person, and they said it was not possible). In addition, they gave me quite a bit of attitude when I was checking out because they said I had taken things from the mini bar, which I definitely did not do and so was disputing those items. They would not let up on thinking that I had taken the items, even though I didn't eat or drink anything from there. I was so surprised about this, considering I had spent quite a bit of money at the restaurant. I'm not sure how/why those items were marked as having been missing, considering it was just me in my room.

Absolutely beautiful hotel with wonderful staff. Truly amazing stay. The only thing that was a bit off putting was the recommended tip for the included breakfast was 100 - 200 pesos. Which seemed a bit ridiulous for a simple (but delicious) breakfast.

We loved our stay at Casa Cuenca. It's a smaller, classy boutique hotel with a lovely courtyard and restaurant. Nestled on a side street in Condesa. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. Great breakfast options each morning. We felt very safe and secure.

Lovely rooms but loud construction noise every day of my stay and staff who were defensive about it and offered nothing by way of compensation — not even a free coffee or offer of tea when I told them I was feeling ill. Some of the staff were very sweet but overall they came across as inexperienced.

Room did not have a lot of circulation and had a musty smell to it. Also it was a bit loud when someone was occupying the room above us.

The hotel was furnished beautifully and the staff was very warm. My room was a larger suit on the ground floor. It had almost zero natural light and was very cold, the heating was insufficient so they gave me a space heater which worked. The location and the breakfast were excellent. I wish the room had a deadbolt

Unfortunately the rooms stay damp after showers because of a lack of fan. Cool nights

The complimentary breakfast had limited options: wider choice available if ordering off the menu. Simple, but tasty, and excellent cappuccino.

The hotel is clean and beautiful, the location is awesome. The only thing was the anoying sounds in the morning from the water pipes and the neighbors.

We had a lovely stay here. Staff are wonderful, the rooms are beautifully finished, and the location is super, on a tiny plaza. Highly recommend it as a good location near great restaurants in a quiet neighborhood. Guests should be aware that it’s easiest to communicate with hotel on WhatsApp- they respond quickly to messages. Breakfast was included, and they graciously provided box breakfasts when we had early departures, but there are plenty of nearby cafes as options. Really the staff, particularly Amy, could not have been nicer and more helpful. A few notes to fellow travelers: rooms (at least the ones I could see) are accessed by a flight of stairs, and ours required a second flight. There really aren’t chairs in the room nor much space to leave your open suitcase on a floor or shelf, so plan on unpacking. Our room had a cute terrace but with heavy rain in the evening, it was too wet to sit out on in the morning, so in our case not worth paying extra for. But really a lovely small hotel, nice amenities, and a great team of people!

The hotel was in a great location, we walked to two beautiful parks and many restaurants while we were there on a short visit. We found the room quite dark, although well appointed with a nice terrace. The staff was wonderful, extremely helpful and very friendly.
