New hotel in excellent location. Helpful, friendly staff. Spacious room. Roof top restaurant was excellent. Currently hard to find as the local city council has not allowed them to put up their sign on the building and there are no street numbers posted.

The room was clean and the location was excellent, which makes me inclined to return. However, the service at reception was disappointing. The staff member who checked us in seemed annoyed by our presence, which was unwelcoming after a long nine-hour family drive. The following day, we asked about the availability of beach towels but encountered the same lack of warmth. It was surprising that, given the hotel’s proximity to the beach, towels were not provided. When we politely asked if she could suggest where we might purchase one, she quickly dismissed us without showing any willingness to assist. As feedback, it would be beneficial for the staff to be familiar with the stores nearby that sell towels. This would enhance the customer experience, especially when the hotel does not offer certain amenities.

Nice room but very noisy . Adjacent hotel very loud until 3.00 am and no double glazing in room . Understand New Year’s Eve but paid $850 for the room and should be better soundproofed . Did not include car park at $40 extra

Room was immaculately clean and well presented with a fabulous view of the ocean. The bathroom was somewhat less than private! We had a small problem getting the tv remote to work which took some time to resolve. The reception staff on our day of checkout (Saturday) were incredibly helpful.

We stayed here for a total of four nights. Unfortunately, the room was not what we had booked — we had requested twin bedding and had even emailed and called beforehand to confirm. When we arrived, the front desk acknowledged they had received the request, but the room did not reflect this. Management resolved the issue quickly, which we appreciated. However, the following night, although we were given the twin bedding as promised, the beds were extremely soft and uncomfortable. The next night we asked to have the beds converted back to a king, as the mattresses were far too soft, but were told housekeeping had already finished for the day and the request couldn’t be done. There was also no compensation or additional perks offered despite all surrounding roads being closed off, making car access inconvenient and the overall environment quite dull. The area was full of construction, noise, and lacked the relaxing seaside atmosphere we had expected. To make matters worse, the room had a noticeable sewage smell, which may have been related to the construction works outside or poor bathroom ventilation. Overall, this stay fell far short of what we were expecting from a seaside hotel experience
