This property has a great view of the harbor and a rooftop pool. The staff is very friendly. It is a larger property so the rooms feel very standard issue. Breakfast was very good. My only complaint echoes another reviewer's: there are some type of very small ants that were present in the room during my stay. I found this annoying. The restaurant, Americos, is excellent. If you value a view and a hotel with a pool that is convenient to the ferry, this is the place. Personally, I would explore other hotel options if I were back in Mindelo, but I would definitely go back to Americos.

Room was nice and view was great, but the shower was clogged and they don't provide drinking water, which is a bit crazy. Breakfast was decent, but a bit crowded and the pools were pretty tiny.

Great hotel with beautiful views and incredibly friendly staff. The breakfast was amazing every morning and such a highlight of our stay. The hotel itself smells incredible the second you walk in. This was our second time staying here and we will absolutely be back again.

Great stay! Just not a fan of having to wear the bracelets the whole stay. Wish they could switch that for just a card key.

Good food available. Bed is not what I prefer, but ok.

There's no ATM near-by. The restaurant hours are reasonable, but there's nothing to eat anywhere near outside these hours.
