Myself and two friends stayed here for 7 nights and stayed in a room with a double bed and a double sofa bed. Let’s talk about the facilities first. Before I booked this hotel I made sure it had a heated pool, but when we went to use the indoor facilities it was evident that the pool is not heated in the slightest. In fact, the “ice” bath was warmer than the pool and jacuzzi, and this is not a joke or exaggeration. We spent more time sitting in the ice bath than we did the main pool because of how much warmer it was. Considering the indoor pool had such a loud consistent noise going on in the background, you’d think the pool would be heated. Not to mention the excessive chlorine usage which stings your eyes as soon as you walk through the pool doors, surely not meeting regulations, if they even have them in Malta. Also wanting to mention, the pool water was not clean, and needs to be filtered more, not just packed with chlorine. The staff at the indoor pool had no idea why or if the pool would get heated at any point, and they were nowhere to be seen in the actual pool area at all, which resulted in a poor guy slipping and hitting his lower back extremely hard, because nobody was mopping up the excessive amounts of water on the floor. I do want to mention though that they had someone regularly mopping the floor at the outdoor pool, which also wasn’t heated, and was absolutely freezing. Longer review on Google.

Lovely clean and modern room! The hotel staff are friendly and welcoming! Property location is ideal with boat and ferry rides a short walk away, and plenty of local restaurants nearby.

Very nice hotel.

Location: 5 minutes slow walk to and from the airport bus station. Surrounded by restaurants. 20 minutes slow walk to the Sliema Ferry terminal to Valletta and/or Sliema city centre. Room: big rooms, large size beds, decent TV screen, kettle, hairdryer, fridge, and excellent shower. Only thing to add is that the air conditioning is centrally controlled. Few button presses, you can switch it off. Customer service is ok and staff are polite. Restaurant and bar within the hotel. Noise: you can hear noise if you are unlucky to have a room next door to a noisy neighbour. You can hear banging of doors. You can also hear when the cleaning team are tidying in adjacent rooms.

Clean room, lovely staff, great selection of food on rotation for breakfast buffet, lovely in door heated pool and jacuzzi!

Clean, but people smoke on balconies. Staff is very helpful. Could be noisy. But area is very walkable, plenty cafe and restaurants.

Fabulous hotel, room, breakfast, spa, all amazing. Clean, modern and one of the best Novotel’s I’ve stopped in.

Best to go to pool and Spa after lunch as busy with kids otherwise. Rooftop pool isn’t heated but nice view from roof. Rooms are very spacious.

Yes, it was very clean with great amenities. Nice new looking property. All draw back was the fixed central heating that couldnt not be lowered

Room was well presented, clean and had everything you need. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. The facilities were great, the outdoor pool on roof has a great view, the gym also benefits from the view, some of the kit could use a service. The indoor pool was a let down, little more than a communal bath with couples snogging and kids tearing about and you need to duck to get in due to the low ceiling if you are above average height!

Nice hotel. Breakfast was average buffet fare. Indoor spa area disappointing. But good location and price.

Amazing hotel; best shower; amazing staff; amazing housekeeping team. Loved our stay and would definitely come back if we’re back in Malta.
