Though we went there on a day where the sky was overcast and dreary..it contrasted very well with the next day when the weather took a turn for the better. Pity though we thought we could see something in the waters but not much..just a bird or 2 dipping into the water for a fish. It can be quite private though moving of luggage was impossible with the flight of stairs. The unit next to us could see us but we could draw the blinds if we wanted. Though small, it's still pretty nice and I was glad to experience a night there. I could imagine if it was towards the end of the year when northern lights was in play, the experience would be awesome.

Location and uniqueness

Amazing views from the room and the deck. Unfortunately our next door neighbours were parting, drinking and smoking so we spent little time on the deck. Still highly recommended

Outstading room

I stayed in one of the superior triple cabins over the water and it was one of the most beautiful spots I’ve ever seen. Wish I was here longer!

The family room we stayed in was amazing with floor to ceiling windows overlooking a fjord. What I did not expect was that this location is actually located within a campsite and this was one of a handful of cabins located on the same property that camper vans stay for holiday. With that in mind, it was less than convenient for finding a bite to eat as it was about a 20 minute drive into the nearest largest town. That said, the views were amazing and if you are looking for a place that is peaceful and understand that limitations, it is still worth staying at for multiple days.

I had a fantastic stay at Yttervik Camping (well, more like stunning apartments). The location is absolutely beautiful — right on the fjord with breathtaking views, especially at sunrise and sunset. It’s a peaceful and well-kept site, perfect for relaxing after a day of driving or exploring northern Norway. The cabins were amazing - clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and the shared facilities were spotless. The staff were welcoming and went out of their way to ensure everything was in order. It’s a great base for visiting Mo i Rana and nearby attractions, but also a lovely destination in its own right. We are even returning for two nights on our way back to Oslo. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others travelling through the area.

Fantastisk lokasjon og utsikt

Deilig å komme frem til hytte med komfort og verdens beste utsikt. Gode senger i luftig og romslig leilighet, og balkong med gode møbler og nyyydelig utsikt gjør at vi alltid prøver å legge inn et stopp her. Flott plass å ha med hund også!

Vi hadde en veldig fin hytte, rent med veldig god dusj! Jeg kan anbefale yttervik!

Fantastisk hytte og sted, flott veranda med havet rett ned. Reint og ryddig, hit kommer vi tilbake.

Die Hütte hat uns außerordentlich gut gefallen, sie hatte einen grandiosen Ausblick, war sehr sauber und es fehlte an nichts. Hervorzuheben ist die Sauna! Ein tolles Erlebnis
