Arrived on a Sunday night. Clerk said they have only one room left. It does not have a working TV and the AC is out. No other rooms available. He said that I had not yet been charged for the room and it would be canceled. That left me high and dry to find another hotel. Later I found out that Hotels.con had indeed charged me for the room. I contacted their bot and told them of the situation. They said that I had checked in, which I had not. The reply was that I should contact the property directly and work it out with them! I am a USA citizen and the hotel is in Mexico! They expect me to communicate in Spanish with a clerk who is now 500+ miles away. The clerk that I dealt with when first informed that the room was faulty wasn't much over 19 and fairly unenthused about helping me, except to say that I would not be charged for the room. BS! Too bad that I wasn't told that the room had failures prior to my arrival. Too bad Hotels.con wouldn't do more to support me. (Been a client for over 10 years.)

Clean rooms at a decent price. However, there are no amenities. You are paying for a clean room and that is what you are getting.

There were people driving ATVs

I made reservations through Expedia. I drove 10 hours to the hotel and when I arrived I was told that "it didn't matter if I had a reservation or not the hotel was completely book with no rooms available". I asked what am I suppose to do now and rather than suggest another hotel he shrugged his shoulders and said "I don't know" There were workers working on the hotels sign outside and we asked them since we are in a foreign country and my handle on spanish was limited we tried driving around looking for a hotel and visited 2 before we found Penasco Del Sol who were more than accommodating, although I had to spend an extra $1000 that I hadn't planed for and we had to cut out vacation from 9 days down to 5 days. I am very disappointed in Hotel Vista Marina and Expedia that they both allowed this to happen.

The staff is not friendly, the hotel is not a family place.

Clean. Needs more parking area.

It is located in party central so if you want to sleep before 3 am don’t stay there. There were no blankets. All you had to cover up was a single top sheet. Yikes!!! We froze all night. Bad choice on staying there.

We had a late check in around 1:00 pm. The young man at the front desk was helpful and patient. The parking lot was secure in front of the office. The room was clean.

a lot of noise in the area if you don't mind, rooms are clean. it's decent for a one night stay.

Clean rooms, the staff was really good and helpful, there are plenty of shops and food place within walking distance, the beach is only 2 blocks away walking distance it’s a perfect spot right on Calle 13 where the nightlife is very active, there’s bars and clubs within walking distance, we were able to go to a karaoke bar that had pool tables very very fun, 10/10 experience overall.

Clean room great location for fun definitely a busy spot

Good hotel close to the beach! a lot of good food on that street. Just stay away from El Toro Tacos restaurant. We got food poisoning there last day and next day was ruined because of that.

Lots of taco places Oxxo and a casino nearby however if you need internet Access it's socks there wi-fi is not very good it all
