Location was nice

Nice place for the price.

Views at the hotel was amazing!!! There was also a chef who was by pool, her food was amazing too. Definitely will stay here again!

Nice views of the hotel and cleanliness. Good housekeeping. The restaurant was being renovated so no dining experience to share.

The hotel needs to update its pictures to reflect the true condition of the property. Our room was OK, but the rest of the property is in disrepair. I know they’re working to get the restaurant open, but the entire place could use an overhaul. The property has outstanding views, and it is in a great location, it’s just a shame it’s this rundown

This is a well known hotel in St Thomas, and does have a spectacular location up the hill looking down on the bay and marina. That's about where the charm ended. We booked an upgraded room with a view, but I felt they needed to also give me some tools, a can of paint and a brush. Paint peeling in numerous locations, both sink and toilet loose and gave the impression they'd fall over at any moment. Hotel also chose to close the restaurant for repair - no notice in advance - workman grinding, sawing, shouting to each other morning until afternoon. So, rooms in poor condition, restaurant closed (meaning you have to grab a taxi and go somewhere down in town since this beautiful hillside location is not home to a lot of choices), no discount offered. Wouldn't stay here again.

The views from the property are amazing, which I think is the calling card. Honestly, for the price point I was overall satisfied. It was clean and no fuss. Would've been nice if they had someone to help with luggage up and down the stairs. It's a boutique, so no real amenities other than the pool. There is a restaurant and again the views from there are breathtaking. We had a car, mostly you park on the street outside the hotel but there is some designated parking for a few cars, just have to get lucky. Not much in close vicinity so you have to drive or taxi but we knew that before booking. I'd recommend if rates are reasonable compared to the big resorts and chains.

The staff is fantastic! The restaurant is under construction, but they offered a limited menu poolside and the kabobs were excellent! Very enjoyable, and again the staff is fantastic!

Phenomenal views of the island!!

Beautiful view! Nice and clean room. Comfortable

We stayed for two nights very comfortably. The view was beautiful as described and the hospitality was helpful and friendly. Taxi driver Joyce was great and we were glad to have her number provided by the hotel. The restaurant was undergoing renovations due to hurricane damage unfortunately, so we didn't get to enjoy that part to its fullest. However, the staff was able to accommodate breakfast, and did have chef Alicia available on Friday evening to cook a wonderful dinner that we enjoyed on the pool deck. She even noticed we had a picky-eating four-year-old and offered a modification to the menu that he devoured. Note on walkability: like much of the island, it's not very pedestrian-friendly. We did walk up to Sib's on the Mountain for dinner one of our nights, but the walk back down in the dark with no shoulder was a bit scary. Sib's was great, but I'd probably do it for lunch next time and take a taxi for dinner--unless the Mafolie restaurant is open again!

The dinning was not ooen when i went but ither than that i had a good time.
