The Host was very kind, welcoming, and communicated well with all residen. The vibe was very homey and provided beautiful views, a pool, and free homemade breakfast.

The experience was awesome! Everything from the hotel itself to interacting with the other guests and staff were fantastic. We are looking forward to returning!

Our experience at Loma Tranquila. Our initial chat with the property owner let us know that their preferred method of communication is using WhatsApp. We arrived at Loma Tranquila on Friday evening around 5 PM the check-in location. The check-in location or registration is on the bottom level of the hotel to reach it. You drive down the slope driveway until you see a pool on your left. There is parking available on site and it is secured at the property is closed off each night by a large metal gate. The economy rooms have a full-size bed a shower and toilet towels, toilet paper and hand soap are provided by the staff. I would recommend bringing your own toiletries a washcloth if you use one in the shower or a loofah. The economy room does not have a microwave or a mini fridge. There is a television. Contrary to what is listed on the website there is no airport shuttle service so you would need to Uber or rent a car to reach this location. Our Uber cost approximately $16usd from SJO To this location. The days are rather warm, however each room is equipped with fans and most of the rooms just leave the windows open to allow the fresh mountain breeze in. This does mean you may see a few flying insects and ants in the rooms but they did not affect our stay. There are no screens on the windows. For us it got a little chilly at night, and our host was gracious enough to accommodate us with an extra blanket. In the morning, breakfast included.

Place was clean for the most part. No air conditioning but the weather wasn't crazy hot. Bathroom smelled really bad which was the worst I could say about this place. But the staff was amazing she was caring and attentive.

It was an okay place. Out of the way and we onlybstayed a few hours. The lady of the property was very helpful but pictures are not recent.

I recently stayed at your property and wanted to share some feedback regarding my experience. While the overall stay was pleasant, I found that the customer service could have been better. Several amenities that were promised as part of the package, such as breakfast and an airport shuttle, were not provided. Additionally, the pool area is in need of maintenance. I believe honest reviews are important to help future guests make informed decisions and to improve the quality of service. I hope this feedback is helpful and that these issues can be addressed to enhance the guest experience.

I had such a wonderful experience staying here I felt at home! The view is amazing! Swimming in the pool and looking out at the view was a highlight. The owner is such a friendly person who is there to help whenever there is anything that I needed! There was really cute bunnies (mango and waffles) overall I will be back I truly enjoyed my trip to Costa Rica. The room was clean and very spacious.

THERE IS NO SHUTTLE AND THE POOL WASN'T WORKING WHEN I ARRIVED. IT SEEMED TO BE UNDER CONSTRUCTION. THE PLACE WAS TOTALLY UNDERSTAFFED (THERE WAS NO ONE IN THE OFFICE) SO I HAD TO WAIT TWO HOURS FOR THE OWNER TO ARRIVE FOR CHECK-IN. BUT ALL THAT BEING SAID, THE OWNER IS AMAZING AND REALLY GOES ABOVE AND BEYOND DESPITE HER LACK OF ASSISTANCE. I WOULD ACTUALLY STAY HERE AGAIN , ESPECIALLY WHEN ITS RUNNING NORMALLY. THE ROOMS ARE REALLY BIG AND ITS A GREAT DEAL AT THIS PRICE FOR COUPLES/FAMILIES!

Staff was awesome. The young daughter was so sweet and translated for us when needsd. Room was very nice. Wish there was a tap for hot water to wash my hands as there was only cold. Shower only got lukewarm. Really great view from our nice deck. Included breakfast was delicious and we were able to purchase a nice dinner for $6. Great deal. Expedia led me to believe yhere was a shuttle from the airport but there isn't.
