The best thing here was the ocean view from the rooms balcony. However, it goes downhill from there. We stayed March 3-5,2026 which is considered “off-season” but when you only see a property attendant to check you in and they leave the property and not return - would that be a safety concern! Yes, that is correct there was no staff on site at any time during stay or departure. The hotel front doors were left open to the weather all day and night. The only amenities provided one bath towel, one hand towel, one bottle of shower gel per person. No tissues, no cups/glasses, no coffee or tea in the rooms or anywhere else to be found on the property. Someone, maybe another guest eat dinner in the lobby from what appeared to be “take-out” food both nights and items were not cleaned away. No breakfast provided, not even some fresh fruit. Oh, did I mention no coffee/tea. The owners never told us no one would remain onsite, nor did they provide a number for us to contact if we needed anything. Sad!!!

The outside space was stunning at Hotel Pavlou. Decor and outlook was very picturesque. Seafront service at the beds during the day (they even had a paddleboard and dinghy free for guests to use) and watching the sunset in the hotels seafront restaurant, Thala Sea was perfect. Food was very good, generous portions and competitively priced. Julia was friendly and attentive, without being intrusive. The hotel foyer and corridors were modern + clean. The rooms were tired and old looking. However, they were functional and it was all about outside. We would definitely stay again, despite it being a 30 minute + walk from the port. Being beachside was more convenient than being in town. The reception called a taxi at your request, costing between 5-7 euros, dependant on drop off spot in town. Poseidon fish redtaurant served gorgeous food. Best meal we had. Taverna Rota was also up there; serving traditional greek food and the waiters were happy to make recommendations according to your taste. The walk up the steps to the clock tower is steep, but, wow! The views are worth it and there's a lovely breeze up there. Poros has more to offer, we will be back.

Great stay right on the beach. Good breakfast, fair price. Comfortable bed. Good restaurant on the sand.

o begin with, the photos on the site do not match the actual rooms. The hotel is old, the beds are uncomfortable, and the bathroom is outdated. Additionally, the hotel is far from the city of Poros. On the positive side, the staff was very nice

Hyggelig og imøtekommende resepsjonist. OK rom i forhold til pris. Grei taverna i samme bygg med en egen «avdeling» på stranda. Kort vei til stranda. Gratis solsenger.

Das Hotel liegt außerhalb vom Hafen. Aber man kommt mit dem Taxi für 6 Euro zum Hafen. Klimaanlage sehr laut und das Bad ist renovierungsbeduerftig.

Oppholdet totalt var ok. Damene i resepsjonen var serviceminded, men ellers dårlig. De kunne heller ikke engelsk. Frokosten var sjelden klar til annonsert tid. Og den var rett og slett dårlig. Sengene var brukbare Stranden til hotellet hadde gratis solsenger. Vi var der kun 1 dag, da musikken var veldig høy og techno- vi er i 60 årene. Stranden ved siden er noe av det beste vi har opplevd - nat og service glimrende.
