The property itself was well maintained and clean. Reception was helpful. They have several conservation measures in place. The air conditioning automatically shut off which was unfortunate. (We had two rooms and opening and closing the doors would trigger it to power down. Evidently, it’s so that people don’t leave the windows open while running the air conditioner.) The area around Okupa is lackluster. There was rubbish scattered on the ground, bars on the windows of nearby properties, vagrants in the streets, and it smelled of urine. Recommend the Monastiraki train station (versus Kerameikos). Thissio is the best but requires a transfer to the green line.

All was very good.

Staff was amazing. Rooftop pool was refreshing with an amazing sunset view and peek through the buildings view of the Acropolis. We had a room with 2 bunkbeds and private bathroom. Air condition worked well. Bunk beds are squeaky when you move or get out of bed. Our room was across from the public bathroom/showers so a bit on the noisy side, so bring ear plugs. No TV in room, we went to the lounge/kitchen to hang out for a bit before bed and watch tv. Close walking distance to shopping and eating. Not such a great area walking the other direction. Small menu for lunch/dinner and the restaurant. They held our luggage prior to getting our room and after checking out.

Beautiful, modern and clean. Staff was very kind and very helpful. Restaurant food was amazing! The rooms are simple, yet very clean and comforting. Great location, safe and walkable to all things Athens!

Great place to stay in Athens. The hotel is terrific and a pleasure to stay in.

The room was thoughtfully designed, airy and bright. The projector was a cool addition! But the sound plays out of the projector itself so the volume needs to be up pretty loud. Appreciated the filtered water available in the hall. The walls are pretty thin and you can hear everything in the hallways and when the doors slam shut. Definitely choose to pay extra for breakfast for the Greek yogurt and made to order eggs. Lastly the staff was incredible. A small but mighty team who were extremely helpful from checking in to allowing us to store our bags post check out.

Very nice place to stay nice people delicious food close by walking distance from the subway and other good places to travel. I would definitely recommend it if you come from United States bring your international adapter to be able to charge your phone.

Nice, comfortable, boutique hotel experience. Staying in the penthouse suite only made it that much more accommodating. No regrets.

Solo traveler - was great

Very happy with my stay! Staff are wonderful, super nice and helpful. The curtains around the bed are wonderful with a little light and charging opportunities. The rooftop patio was amazing (just sucks when you cant get out the door). They have a restaurant downstairs and its quiet (there is enough space between the restaurant and the rooms). Only wish there were more hooks in the rooms / lockers.

The room is good but I was forced to use WhatsApp for check in.

It was not worth the price I paid (250 euros). If it were half the price my review would be better. Room was very basic. No in room amenities. They would not help bring my bags to the room (we had 4 large bags). Just not what I was expecting.

Great hostel, no complaints

This is a great option for both solo travelers and couples/families! There’s accommodation for both and the amenities are great.

Very conveniently located. Within walking distance of alot of restaurants and main sights in the City. Great view of the city and aceopolis from the rooftop pool. Only thing we wish was improved was the mini fridge was very small and did not get fully cold. Shower configuration was also a bit odd/small, causing alot of water to splash outside of shower area. Aside from that, the hotel was excellent.

The Buffett breakfast was good! The room was small but very efficient! The staff was very helpful with any of our needs.

Overall stay was great. Easy check in and the gentleman that checked me in asked if I wanted a review of all the amenities which was awesome. Much appreciated The rooms were great. The curtains helped to block out the light and had headphones in so I didn’t even notice when others came in. Beds were comfy and happy to have gotten two pillows!! You don’t get a room key, you use your phone but the wifi is great. Also a great view of the acropolis from the rooftop. Happy I booked in there again on my way out of the country

It was a good staff stay was excellent.. very knowledgeable

I thought the place was great! I embarrassingly thought the restroom symbols were identical and thought the bathrooms were gender neutral …. The whole time I was using both rooms until a guy walked in and he was very surprised to see me. Then I took a closer look at the symbols and they have differences! I’ll never live it down!!
