Overall stay was good and while our online booking and prepayment process was smooth, our check-in experience was disappointing and highly concerning. Despite already paying for the room, the front desk staff demanded physical passports for all guests upon discovering we were international travelers. They made color copies of the passports and refused our requests to return the copies prior to departure, raising significant data privacy and security concerns. This process was invasive and lacked clear data security protocols. Can you please clarify the policy and confirm that these documents’ copies were securely destroyed?

The property has a great location and the staff are very sweet people, we stayed there 7 years ago the first time and the property is still well cared for. Be sure to check out the rooftop terrace as it provides a beautiful view of the cathedral. El establecimiento tiene una ubicación excelente y el personal es muy amable. Nos alojamos allí por primera vez hace 7 años y el lugar sigue estando muy bien cuidado. No dejen de visitar la terraza de la azotea, ya que ofrece una hermosa vista de la catedral.

I loved the location, easy to get around. Staff answered all my questions and helped me get taxis I needed. Very clean and comfortable.

H Santiago is located 1/2 block from the Zocalo and Cathedral. Plenty of shopping options and affordable eateries - some of the restaurants in this area are pricey. Staff are attentive and certainly keep the areas and room clean.

Basic hotel in a great location just steps to the Zocalo. The rooms do not have good soundproofing so bring ear plugs if noise bothers you. No air conditioning but did have a floor fan that was adequate.

Everything was within walking distance. People very friendly. Fany did excellent in cleaning our room 👏 👌 🙌. The people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful when we needed some items. I higly recommend this place to stay. Everything super clean.

Close to everything. Great walking area. Plenty of people and law enforcement. Clean hotel with great rooftop patio. Would love to come again.
