Great hotel at a really fantastic location. The guy who checked us in provided a great list of recommendations including the best places for Francesinha and Bifana both within a couple of blocks of the hotel as well as some sites to see. If you're pushing 70 like us, you might want to make sure the beds are on the same floor as the rest of the room. Our room 53 had a narrow set of stairs to get to the bed. No problems but probably could have done without that challenge. Otherwise, very happy with the stay and staff. The room was large with a kitchen and nice bathroom.

It was a very beautiful suite with comfortable beds and great amenities! It was in a great location easy to do excursions or to go eat out and walk around the city! Great communication and let us check in early!

Central location, but could’ve been better cleaned. Some amenities weren’t working (AC) and so we had to switch rooms. Staff was helpful but keep in mind, reception isn’t 24 hours.

The room/ apartment really was one of the best equipped I’ve ever stayed in- everything you could possibly want to store and prepare your own meals: with irons that actually work efficiently. The balcony was at the front of the building and was one of those stand up ones so I couldn’t sit out there but it was nice to just have it when inside in the apartment. I disliked the stairs to the sleep area and you might struggle if you’re taller than me there. The ibly thing that would make this apart hotel more perfect would be a communal rooftop or sitting area… but still a great place to stay and walkable to most places!

Great location in the heart of the city. Closest metro station Aliados is super convenient especially when you have large luggage. Excellent communication with property with constant updates. The young lady at reception was very friendly and helpful and quick to respond to our requests. She suggested some good eating out places serving local cuisine. A plus was that we could leave our bag after check out and collect later. I cannot comment on the breakfast since we ate out as it was cheaper. There are also several supermarkets nearby. Suggestion: the property should have a few milk pods to use for at least 2 servings each

We were privilaged to spend a few days at Almada 234. Joao was the perfect host taking excellent care of us. The accommodation was comfortable, and clean, and is perfectly situated. We have no hesitation in recommending Almada 234 when you visit Porto.

We LOVED this property, it just made our trip. Beautiful apartment, beautiful old world features & modern updates. The bedding & linens were fantastic. The balcony was awesome. It was centrally located. And the manager, Jao~ was SO friendly & accommodating and made great recommendations! I highly recommend this property!

This place was very nice, as soon as we walked in the room smelled absolutely clean, the place was impeccable, specious and with a bottle of wine waiting for us, the gentleman at the front lobby was very helpful and attentive with any questions we had which we texted him and he promptly respond, definitely staying here next time

We had an amazing stay! Our two-story room felt more like a stylish apartment than a typical hotel room, yet still had all the thoughtful touches and comforts you’d expect from a well-run hotel. Everything was spotless and beautifully maintained, and the space was incredibly well-equipped. The location couldn’t have been better—just a short, easy walk to many of Porto’s top attractions. A special thanks to João from the staff, who went above and beyond to make our stay even more enjoyable. He was attentive, and truly made us feel welcome. Highly recommended!

Spacious rooms and brand new kitchen and bathrooms!! My friend and I loved staying here for four nights. It was quiet with an amazing location near the historic center. A grocery store nearby and cafes everywhere! It’s so convenient to make your own tea or breakfast at the room which feels more like an apartment. Shower was fantastic too.

Location was perfect for walking to everything!
