My room was Tylecoch (sp?), a small double, possibly a squeeze for a couple with suitcases but it was fine for me. The space is well used. It was recently renovated and modern. The en suite bathroom is stylish and I liked the "rain shower" shower. Complimentary bottled water and biscuits supplied! The bar/reception staff and the cleaning staff were Welsh-friendly (the best kind!) and helpful. The parking is not private - it was across the road in Pencai Terrace - no problem finding a space except at the end of day of the nearby school. It's clearly a thoughtfully managed business: recommended!

Hotel clean, fresh and welcoming. Parking was difficult as not off road, rather across the road in a side road, which was extremely busy. We had contacted to ask if 2 clean mountain bikes could be stored and were told yes, but on arrival the bar staff said no. Lucky could move the car contents about to store them inside. The bar was busy on the Friday evening with a welcoming environment.

Was absolutely beautiful

Our room was excellent - recently decorated with good facilities - our only problem was with the shower (no instructions). We had an evening meal which was very well presented. No breakfast available but there are coffee shops and cafes in the village. The staff were very helpful. We would happily stay here again.

Very clean and friendly staff. Be advised that only the pub is air conditioned if you travel in summer.

Rooms were lovely, modern and spacious. Great bed and shower. Staff very kind. Recommend requesting room that does not overlook their outdoor bar seating area. That was very disturbing until midnight Saturdays.

Lovely hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms tastefully renovated, very clean and confortable. Excellent evening meal. Breakfast at the hotel would have enhanced the stay.

A great hotel, set in a busy pub, cannot fault the stay at all. Staff friendly, room was immaculate.

The staff were lovely, they were all so friendly and helpful especially Fay and Callum. The room was nice, had a Mountain View, bathroom had lovely shower, nice fluffy white towels. Everything lovely and clean, plugs by the bed and enough plugs in the room. Window shutters are great. But - there is no on-site parking, it states that there is. Parking is a public road opposite the hotel, free, but it gets very busy. And the restaurant was really noisy when we were there on a weekend. Good food.

Clean room, staff very helpful, nice views of hills from the room, food in pub excellent. No breakfast option but there are local shops, I took breakfast items with me.
