Amazing view especially if you have an ocean side view. Very handy with the cafe downstairs. Room was clean.

Lovely hotel located walking distance to downtown and near the water. Clean rooms and very convenient. Staff was awesome and laundry was charged by the bag rather than the piece which helped us tremendously!! Highly recommend.

The staff and location was amazing. The room let the place down a little. Well due for a make over. Bathroom was satisfactory. But I won’t let that ruin a great place to stay. Pool maybe should be heated this time a year. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others. We had a lovely time Thankyou

All good location, room conditions and staff

Staff was super friendly and helpful. Property was well maintained and beautiful. Location was amazing and accommodating, 10 minute walk on the Esplanade to the night market, marina, lagoon, restaurants, and local shops. Overall amazing experience! Great food, atmosphere and excellent for kids!

It’s a nice hotel - a bit out of town which can make it inconvenient for trips into the CBD - but on the other hand it is quite nice to be away from the city as cairns can be a little intense/ confronting at night - particularly for families.

Breakfast was very average. Mainly the same things on everyday. Had to wait for the staff to cook more as the buffet was empty. The rooms are little run down and need a facelift. The lift need a serve and it makes lot of jamming noise. It is only a 3 class hotel. Staff were friendly and tried to happy you as they could.

Had a great stay at the place, room was nice, bathrooms though could do with some renovations. Very helpful staff and great breakfast, would definitely stay again. Thank you

The hotel is a bit dated. Front desk service was good. Location is good.

We stayed here one week and room tidy each day was terrible - the only 2 teaspoons were never cleaned which was gross. Lack of amenities, no cutlery only 2 glasses which they never cleaned for 7 days. The bed wasn’t even tidied up - my 11 year old does a better job fixing his bed each morning at home. I had a swimsuit go missing during laundry service and they never checked the laundry to return it. I received some other guy’s huge pair of jocks instead and returned those to front desk. I had an expensive Louis Vuitton bag go missing and they never checked or looked for it - I did a police report and even the detective said the hotel’s response was appalling and she followed up on this on my behalf. There are no amenities to prepare or even eat take away but the hotel menu is awful - just full of chips and no healthy options. Honestly, we’ll never stay here again. The only good thing was the onsite parking which is free.

Rooms could do with updating, money has been spent on dining room, bar and swimming area which look great. Rooms and bathroom tired although a good size. If you can afford to get a sea view room do it- it makes a huge difference rather than looking over the car park. The hospital is a stones throw away so expect plenty of ambiance sirens. Average hotel.

Harbourside Hotel is directly across the street from the beautiful (waterfront) esplanade, which we walked each night of our stay. Richard at the front desk was very welcoming and provided helpful dining suggestions. The breakfast buffet has a good selection of food options.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and spacious the bed was very comfortable.

We felt the room and facilities were adequate for a night stay, but were surprised the 'spa' pool was not heated, which may be fine in the summer but not what we expected. The restaurant was adequate but limited. The outlook from our room was lovely.
