We booked Hiša Krasna just 15 minutes before arriving, and somehow Dajana and her husband Boris were completely ready for us. From the start, it felt less like checking into a hotel and more like arriving at the home of friends who were genuinely happy to have us. We booked the least expensive room, which was still beautiful and incredibly comfortable. I loved the thoughtful, out-of-the-box design, right down to the bathroom tiles. Even the note under the bed reminding guests that it gets cleaned made us laugh out loud. Breakfast was exceptional. Peaches and figs from the garden, local bread, croissants, cheeses, homemade jams and yoghurt. After seeing their connection with Michelin-recommended dining, I can understand the level of care behind the food. What really stayed with us was the hospitality. We were treated like family, given great advice on the surrounding area, and even received a 20% discount for activities at the nearby Lipica horse ranch. Lokev itself is wonderfully quiet. Honestly, I would return just for the sleep. It was probably the best night’s sleep I’ve had in a long time. Dajana and Boris clearly bring high standards from their previous professional lives, and you can see how much thought goes into every detail. Hospitality may be a profession, but genuine care cannot be faked, and that is what makes Hiša Krasna special. Highly recommend 45 min drive to Mesecev Zaliv area for clearest waters. La suite vita, au premier étage par l’escalier, comportait deux chambres, une avec lits pour 2, l’autre avec grand lit simple. Le bloc de Clim se trouve dans le couloir entre les deux chambres. Le petit déjeuner, copieux et varié, est servi à table. J’aurais aimé un frigo dans la chambre. Mais notre hôte a spontanément mis nos blocs de glace dans le congélateur . Bonne adresse au calme.
