Then head out the city and either drive by or visit the iconic Adelaide Oval stadium (events permitting). Stop off at Hahndorf, a wonderful German village with an abundance of boutique shops and eateries.  Choose to explore and do whatever you please with an hour and a half of free time

Meet at bus stop 54 on the main street of Hahndorf before enjoying a short and incredibly scenic drive through the beautiful Adelaide Hills on route to the iconic wine tasting region of McLaren Vale. Stop off at the stunning Chapel Hill Winery. Have your taste buds primed and your camera poised as your host at Chapel Hill tantalises you with a wonderful structured wine tasting experience in their picturesque cellar door.

Set off to the Main Street of McLaren Vale. Enjoy some free time and choose to taste more wine at Hardy Tintara's Cellar door, or perhaps grab a cleansing beer, or simply have a coffee and watch the world go by. Alternatively, you could use your time gathering some sweet souvenirs when you visit the fabulous Almond Train, an old converted train carriage offering every variety of almond treat imaginable. If that's not enough, pop into the Iconic Aussie Fruchocs chocolate factory and pick-out a selection of sweet gifts.

Climb back on board to take a short drive to the quaint Shingleback Winery. On this incredibly relaxed tasting you'll enjoy a structured tasting of Shingleback's finest wines, and if you're peckish, you can purchase a cheeseboard to enjoy with your wine.

Enjoy the scenic route as you journey towards your final featured destination of the day. Upon arrival at Adelaide's beautiful seaside suburb of Glenelg, you can choose to take a 15 minute stroll around Glenelg before hopping back on the bus to Adelaide, or choose to leave the tour in Glenelg to spend a few leisurely hours enjoying the abundance of shops, restaurants, and, of course, the beach. Pick a spot for dinner and get ready to watch one of the most spectacular sunsets anywhere in the world.
