Join a cooking class conducted by Sara Khong, author of four cookbooks. In this class, not only will you learn how to cook popular Malaysian dishes, but you will also get to explore her garden with over 50 herbs, spices, and flowers used in everyday cooking. The two main dishes that you will learn to cook with some ingredients from the garden are Char Kuey Teow and Satay. Enjoy the delicious meal you cooked while hearing stories of the Malaysian way of life.

- 09:00: Meet at Sara Khong's home. Enjoy a glass of flower tea & appetizer from the organic garden
- 09:15: Garden tour
- 09:45: Cooking Class
- 12:30: Eat!
- 13:00: End of session
Dishes that you will learn includes
- Char Kuey Teow (Fried Flat rice Noodles)
- Chicken Satay with Peanut Sauce (Chicken Skewer)
- Rojak (Malaysian Fruit & Vegetable Salad)
- Pisang Goreng (Banana Fritters) or Sago Gula Melaka (Sago Pudding with Coconut Milk and Palm Sugar)
- Teh Tarik.
- This is a private residence, location will be shared individually upon confirmation the day before this event.
- In case of rain, the class will carry on. Garden tour can be conducted using umbrellas or canceled altogether.
