About Penang House Of Music Admission

Visit Penang House of Music and immerse yourself in the rich diversity of Penang's Musical heritage. Maintenance and upgrading closure: 18/3/2020 - 31/3/2020. The venue will be open for public on 1/4/2020.

Directions:

From KOMTAR, Level 3

You can only access the Penang House of Music from Level 3, KOMTAR.

Please proceed to the entrance of the ICT Digital Mall (opposite KFC Restaurant).

Turn left inside the entrance and walk straight until you reach the escalators.

The escalator will lead you directly to the entrance on Level 4.

From Prangin Mall / First Avenue

Please take the link bridge to reach Level 3 of KOMTAR.

At the end of the bridge, you will find escalators that will lead you directly to the entrance on Level 4.

I am very happy to go here even though there is less time because I have to go to the airport. The museum is really good, there is a friendly guide who explains everything to us. Hopefully in Indonesia there is also a music museum like this. I really enjoyed it!

It's been a very enjoyable visit. The guided tour was very interesting and interactive. Guide Joyce was a pleasure to listen to, I learnt a lot about the history of music in Penang, and I could try playing the different musical instruments. It's been one of the best things I have experienced in Penang. Thanks a lot!
