See where famous movies like "The Beach" were filmed Location: Maya Bay - Koh Phi Phi 8.10 AM - 8.40 AM Visit Pileh Lagoon, the perfect spot to cool down and take a swim in the turquoise waters whilst admiring the cove-like canyon which literally cuts into the Phi Phi Leh island. Set out to explore the best of Koh Phi Phi on your longtail boat tour. Spend 1 hour in Maya Bay, where "The Beach" was filmed. Discover this preserved area, where it is not possible to swim, but because of this, you can sometimes see baby sharks.

Admire the turquoise waters of Pileh Lagoon. Choose the 7-hour option to discover Bamboo Island, a white sand beach with bright blue water. Next, go to Monkey Bay to observe crab-eating macaque monkeys from a safe distance.

Swim and snorkel with harmless blacktip reef sharks at snorkel spots. Stop outside the Viking Cave to take pictures and head to Loh Sama Bay with a small islet in the center and a tiny beach at the back of a small canyon.

Maya Bay will close every year in August and September due to nature preservation. You will spend longer at other spots on the tour during this period

Tour schedules might differ due to weather and sea conditions

Rain in Southern Thailand is unpredictable and can happen anytime

The tour will continue in the rain if conditions are safe, and no refund will be granted

If conditions are determined to be unsafe, the tour will be canceled and you can reschedule or get a full refund

The plankton swimming and sunset are only possible if you pick an afternoon tour and only with 4, 6, and 7-hour options

Bamboo Island is only visited with the 7-hour option

The local Thai captain speaks very basic English

Monkeys and blacktip reef shark sightings are highly likely, but cannot be guaranteed

You must arrange your transport to Koh Phi Phi

An overnight stay is required due to limited transfers at sunrise and sunset options
