— Transfer And Basic Information —

Meeting time: around 6:00 pm on departure date.

Meeting point: To Ong Adventure office : 40 Thanh Đa, ward 27, Binh Thanh district, HCM

Trekking level: 2 - decent difficulty suitable for fairly-experienced trekkers

Age restriction: 6 years old and above in good health conditions.

Under 16 years old have to be accompanied by parents.

1 tour guide accompanied with 4 travelers.

The To Ong Adventure team is trained and certified by Survival Skills Vietnam.

Group size: maximum 15 travelers/group to ensure best experience and safety.

— What You Should Bring —

Clothing: easy for movement, sweat-wicking

Backpack: with power belt, comfortable to carry (3-4kg of weight)

Trekking shoes, sandals: well-fitting shoes, camping sandals

Sun-protective/heat-retaining jacket (depending on the route)

Sunscreen: a wide-brimmed hat, sun gloves, mittens, socks

Personal items: toothbrush, necessary electronic devices…

Personal medicine: rehydration tablets, electrolytes, insect repellant sprays, leech

Snacks: dry food, chocolate, sweets

Tour Itinerary

•

Depart from HCMC at around 6:00 pm on departure date.

•

06:00 Arrive in Kbang Town, stop for personal hygiene, have breakfast and enjoy a cup of highland coffee.

•

08:00 Get on a sleeper bus for another 55km transfer on the East Truong Son road to Son Lang commune, the village of the local Bana minority people

•

09:30 Go to the ranger station, learn about the reserve and prepare your belongings and head to Kon Chu Rang Nature Reserve. You will start walking through the forest about 12km through the primeval jungle with the support of rangers and a team of guides. The rich flora here will make you curious and excited, especially when you come to K40 Waterfall and K50 Waterfall with the wild look of the highlands.

11:30 Stop for lunch, relax in the middle of the majestic primeval forest.

•

13:00 After resting, the group moves to the campsite, store your belongings here to continue the journey to conquer K40 and K50 Waterfall.

16:30 Set camping on the bank of a romantic stream, where you can relax, enjoy the beauty of nature and listen to the Swallows fly right above your head.

22:00 Have dinner prepared by local people and enjoy traditional Bana-styled liquor. Have some chats with new friends and sing with guitar with the locals.
