Clean and well location with no frills

Rooms had not been cleaned, overflowing rubbish bin, empty bottles, no towels and when new ones delivered only 4 for 6 people!, verandah doors left open, cigarette smell on entry to floor level, trundle beds were in a shocking state - DO NOT STAY - parking cost excessive

Room actually felt larger than what was displayed in the online photos. It was great to have a private balcony.. The location was great and within walking distance from everything. It was also a lot quieter than other places I have stayed in the Sydney CBD, I did not hear any traffic or other guests even though they were at capacity. Couple of small issues

Great location and great layout for families. We are a group of 4. When we got there, we were very happy to find two separate 2-brm apartments joined by the front entrance door and corridor. It offered the privacy and the space while still conviniently right next to each other for our group.

This property is located in one of the most convenient locations in Sydney! Right in the heart of Haymarket, opposite World Square shopping centre this hotel offers a lot but a few key problems let it down. Of the two towels in our room one was stained. There was also a small stain on our bed sheets. The microwave was also not clean. Apart from those negatives the room was spacious, kitchen was clean and functional and the bed was very comfortable. From a value point of view i was very happy. I didn't find the staff overly friendly but checked us in ok and helped store our bags at the end of the stay without a fuss.

APX is a solid hotel, large rooms. Fulll kit jen, washing machine dryer. Central to so many shops, 2 minutes from Coles supermarket, easy to uber around. Its my future go to.

We had a great stay. Location was very convenient. Will definately stay again.

Large and well equipped studio apartment. Comfy bed and nice refurbished shower room. In a lively area which meant quite a bit of noise outside on the Friday and Saturday evenings. Good location though for the CBD, Darling Harbour, and for public transport.

Microwave didnt work, aircon didnt work, tv's tiny and only had 4 channels. Maintenance tried to fix aircon and said it was but it still wasnt? Requested room move; that room the tv only had 3 channels. Staff were indignant, defensive and one even said "Im recording you". When challenged about legality of recording someone without their consent, he conceded wrong but...why?

The property is in a great location, walking distance to shops and china town. The house keeping was not perfect but generally it is in clean condition.

This property is so close to a very diverse area of Sydney, within walking distance of Chinatown and George St shopping, and is also so close to public transportation making areas like Bondi Beach and Circular Quay easily accessible. Would highly recommend if you’re trying to see the best of Sydney!

Bathroom and kitchenette were modern and well equipped. Other furniture was chipped, damaged, and mattress was sagging and needed replacing. No towels were available for the pool and not all gym equipment was functional. Minimal shampoo, soaps were provided. Front desk staff were disinterested in addressing issues

Really great location with walking distance to all of the areas we needed to visit - QVB, Capitol, Mall, Art Gallery, Central Station. The room was terrific, spacious, quiet and very comfortable. The kitchenette was handy. We enjoyed our stay very much.
