Clouds Montville

We paid extra to stay with breakfast included but there was no breakfast or restaurant available in this place, so we have to go somewhere else. The nice area showed on photos was is not available at anytime for guests. We would like a refund for the breakfast that we paid and was not included

We caught the lift upstairs to sit and admire the view. We were happy with the Studio room. There was supposed to be a continental breakfast but was not there.

Loved that we got a free late checkout

The bathroom provided a unique feature of heated towel rack. We did not receieve our continental breakfast that was included with booking. No milk was provided in fridge for our room tea and coffee.

The bed was comfortable. Very easy to find. Unfortunately there were no staff to ask any questions of. I did call and leave messages however did not get any responses. It was the weekend and they do have signs up and notices online they are not available over the weekends and after 4 pm I think it was. We wanted information about our breakfast that was included in the package and never got an answer and therefore never got our breakfast that was paid for!! So just be aware there will be radio silence at certain times. I also had to wash all the coffee cups before using them as all 4 were soiled with old coffee or hot chocolate which looked like they had just been rinsed and put back as there was residue down the outsides of every cup! Left a bit of a bad taste in our mouths. There is plenty of accommodation to choose from around the Maleny/ Montville area and that’s what we shall do next visit. We stay in this region often due to visiting family in Brisbane and always have had wonderful hosts. Shall stick to what we know next time.

Great views and very clean

There is no fireplace. There is no spa, just a photoshopped deep bath. The king bed is short - probably <2m. They set us up with one roll of rump ribbon. They don't answer the one staff number. Place is very run down.

I didn’t like that the glass had lipstick on them and the cups had dribbles running down. The bathroom tap had toothpaste splatters on it. It thr sheets were clean and smelled freshly laundered.

Comfortable

Clouds was brilliant, well appointed and reasonably priced. I loved the breakfast basket that was a lovely surprise. The view from my balcony was amazing. This will be my first choice next time I am staying in the area.

The area around hotel was a great view, however when we checked in room there was a foul smell and sheets were stained - there was noisy guests so was not a peaceful trip - our rate included breakfast however when I sent email to as no response from them, husband went to restaurant and was told they weren’t operating - we had to source breakfast elsewhere a cost that wasn’t budgeted hence booking the trip with this amnesties - contacted Expedia 3 times they advised waiting on hotel ‘manager’ get back to them the staff say oh you have speak manager - will keep everyone posted FYI it’s been 6 days since our stay!

This property is not in business due to current water damage. My reservation was cancelled but I am yet to receive a refund

We booked this accommodation as breakfast was included. Was told the next morning after our first night that breakfast was only open weekends. We were told you would have received an email after booking that breakfast was not available week days. We would not have booked if knowing this was not available. We noticed there was packet cereal in the dining area and the least they could do would be to offer some in your room. They need to notify other booking companies that breakfast is not included on week days, our room also never got serviced. We ran out of coffee and milk, no fresh towels and no staff to ask for replenishment.

Would prefer warm egg n bacon brekkie

Arrived at this property 10 mins after their reception had closed which is at 5 o'clock due to traffic, nobody at property except other guests, phoned out of hours number without success, never answered phone. Contacted Wotif who also tried without success, leaving us without any where to stay for the night, had to book alternative accommodation 30 mins drive away. I would NOT recommend staying at this hotel. Refund requested and declinded, never been contacted by hotel.

Spacious, clean, excellent views and in a sevluded area

Ceiling fans over the the beds would be great that way you might not have to use the air conditions all the time witch would save you money

There were barely any guests and we were allocated a room near the carpark with limited view. Leak by door when we entered. Facilities needed maintenance. Bed not comfortable. Milk was rotten

Great views quiet place to relax

It was a lovely place to stay but I don’t understand why I was given the studio room that was for disabled guests when clearly there were other rooms available. The toilet had not been cleaned & needed attention.
