Hotel Coronation

Very comfortable spacious room which was well soundproofed to block out the busy street noise. Ideally located close to Town Hall, clear check in instructions from Travis and nice dinner in the 1st level restaurant.

Hotel overall is outdated. We had a late check in (arrived at 8pm) and we had to go to the hotel’s bar to see a staff for check in. The pictures posted online are wayyyyy to nice for what is really being offered and felt catfished in a way. The elevator can only fit 3 people, and the room Was just subpar. Chair leathers are peeling off, beds was uncomfortable and due for a change since you lay down and it caves in. Bathroom mirrors have molds. Our tv was probably the smallest we’ve ever seen, about 14 in. We didnt even watch cause whyyy?!! We won’t be able to see what the show is anyway cause its just so small. the fridge is screaming to be in an antique store. Omg. The carpet is so nasty, i need to tiptoe to walk around cause there’s no complimentary slippers yikes. We also thought they had a gym but they do not have any. This hotel gotta be better than this. Anyway, the only good thing I can say is the staff are at least very nice. They are friendly, always greeting and welcoming. The location is also what’s keeping this review a 2 star since we are literally in the heart of the city. Qvb is next door as well as the train stations. Shopping malls and stores are within reach. That’s it!

Comfortable, clean room, perfect for my one-night stay for a work conference. In the heart of the city, close to everything and yet so quiet and private. Thank you.

The room was very clean with a great bathroom. Lovely inner city pub with atmosphere to suit.

Hard to find office to check in & staff not working there after 8pm

Everything was perfect, the room was very clean and great to have a fridge. Brilliant location only 20 minutes walk from Circular Quay and the opera house. However the best aspect of our stay was Travis the reception manager who was so helpful with travel and restaurant information and even took the trouble to come outside with us to show us where to pick up an Uber to return to the airport!

The staff were super friendly and the rooms were compact and spotless. Location is amazing in the heart of Sydney with transport links in the immediate vacinity. The road the hotel is located on is very busy which is quite noisy throughout the night.

Very tidy hotel, the staff were very friendly and check-in was so easy. It's not the Ritz but it's very functional and walking distance to everything. Thanks for a good stay!

Close to all facilities I needed great food and service

We ate at both the bar & the level one dining above. The food was great and the pricing good. We got a great price for a Wolf Blass red at the bottle shop which you can “ BYO “ to the restaurant. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The location magnificent. Park street is short walk to George and Pitt streets. Town hall station & light rail seconds away .

Very helpful staff. Good and convenient location though this also means over the weekend it can get noisy from the surrounding area.

Not really worth the money

Great place to stay in Sydney! The location is terrific. The room was compact and nothing fancy, but clean, comfortable and quiet. There were a few points in the room and around the hotel that are a little aged, but everything functions fine and is kept clean and safe, so no complaints - but that's the only reason I didn't give 5 stars on "Condition & facilities" - that said, it didn't bother me and I'm pretty picky. We ate dinner in the pub downstairs and it was great!
