Basic accommodation. Great location close to vic markets and city. Cheap! Amazing value

Very disappointing stay. The hotel was extremely dirty and poorly maintained. The curtains were stained and grimy, the carpets throughout the room and hallways were old and filthy, and the bathroom was very outdated. The bathroom fixtures were worn out, discolored, and even loose. There was not even a power outlet next to the bed to charge a phone, which was very inconvenient. The room had only one small, dim light, making the space feel dark and depressing. The bathroom had no ventilation at all. The photos used in the advertising are highly misleading and do not reflect the actual condition of the property. Even the carpet at the main entrance was old and badly worn, and the walls and corridors looked dirty and neglected. Overall, the hotel is in serious need of renovation and much better cleaning standards. I was genuinely shocked by the condition of the room and would not stay here again.

The hotel was ok. Close to food places, trash cans didn’t have garbage bags, no bathroom amenities except hand soap/body wash. No wall plugs next to bed, dark lights. Breakfast had good amount of choices but not a lot.

The room was clean but there was a strong urine smell in the hallway and some in our kitchen area but not the bedroom. It was not there the next day. It is located in an area with many oriental restaurants but no traditional ones.

There were no toiletries provided in the bathroom. Other than that everything was great. The staff very courteous and the cleanliness was good.

I would recommend placing a lounge car in the room to relax in.

Mugs instead of cups would be better. Room being cleaned next door to mine . 10:40 at night 😳 Noisy ! Otherwise a very peaceful stay.

We have stayed in this hotel twice in two years. Both times, it has been an enjoyable stay. The location is very strategic, close to Queen Victoria market and other parts of the CBD. Rooms are still reasonably priced, and amenities are alright. Not out of the ordinary, but also not a let down. I noticed that the breakfast selection has gotten fewer in my second stay. I understand the current economic climate is impacting all businesses. Overall, decent and no fuss stay for the price.

Clean room, really helpful staff, somewhat convenient station (near train and tram). 8.5/10 will book again

Excellent staff service. We were able to store our bags pre and post check in/out and were provided with an umbrella to go shopping in the heavy rain. Staff very helpful 👍

I only stayed one night, and it wasn't too pleasant. You get what you pay for.

Great hotel, in a great central location

Perfect basic apartment, large rooms and great location. Great place to stay of you are camping in the wild etc for majority of trip as it has laundry room with tumble dryer to use at a low cost.
