Amazing staff. After flying in from the East Coast USA, having a room ready at 830AM, amazing. Zahra was outstanding. The breakfast buffet was more than worth the cost. In room, could not ask for anything better. Location great and central to everything we had planned.

My husband and I have been staying here for over 25 years and it’s one of our favourite hotels in the city which is why we keep coming. The buffet breakfast is one of the best we’ve ever had. Loved the message from the hotel telling us that our room was ready early and we could check in and the online check out is so quick and easy.

Room excellent although mine was city view and was quite noisy from outside.
Location to harbour fantastic
Roof bar didn’t like that I had to book, as a guest should have had access anytime I wished without having to be out on list
But I would stay again I’d just be better prepared next time.

We truly enjoyed our first trip to Sydney and a large part of that experience is based upon our stay at the Intercontinental. It's proximity to the harbour and all activities of interest coupled with the excellence of the property itself was a true comfort.

We let them know our flight landed at 9am and they had our room ready when we arrived. The staff was very attentive, helpful, and friendly. The amenities were great. The location was walking distance to everything, including all area transportation options, including the cruise port. Breakfast was an amazing assortment and delicious. We will definitely stay again if we travel to Sydney again.

Great location, room size generous.
Breakfast buffet excellent.
No real atmosphere in the evening, despite a beautiful restaurant/bar setting. There is only one restaurant and the food quality and service were average, despite lots of staff milling around.
