Great location - directly opposite tessellated pavement and a short walk to the sandy beach. Staff were very friendly and helpful on arrival. Booked a Mountain View Superior King Room. Room was very clean and tidy. Bit on the small side, but very fresh (recently renovated) and comfortable. Room had no A/C, even though advertised that it did - this made the room a bit stuffy overnight. Dined at restaurant - staff very friendly, prompt service, and very good meal. Plenty of onsite parking, though may not be near your room. Would stay again.

Paid extra for Spa room, Spa was very old, noisy and plug constantly leaked. Many other things in the apartment were old, worn out or broken.

2 bedroom spa apartment on the smaller size but enough room for a couple and maybe a third person but a little cramped for a family if staying for more than a night.. balcony was nice to sit on with great views off the beach. Unfortunately when washing a few dishes found there was no hot water flowing from kitchen sink, dishwasher had seals damaged so was reluctant to use.. Couch or bed not all that comfortable but pillows where super.. Televisions didnt get great reception and are not smart TV’s but unless you are planning to be in your room a lot not an issue The smaller shower screen for people who are tall makes for an interesting shower eg: you end up washing the whole bathroom.. water pressure Devine! Staffing was mostly accommodating apart from the young lady behind the bar on Sunday night, when enquiring about pizzas which are clearly on a menu online was made to feel like I had asked for her first born child. We dined in the restaurant and not the greatest we had. Coffee on the other hand was great and service from the lady Saturday morning was excellent.. The close walk to the beach was perfect for go for a lovely stroll at any point.. Overall this place once it has a few minor things repaired and updated would be a more pleasant place to stay especially when paying nearly $1000 for a 3 night stay.

The rooms are very small, definitely not how they make it seem in the photos and made it a nightmare to take anything out of your bags. The rooms were clean. The one time I don’t bring my own toiletries, they haven’t refilled the body wash, my partner and I had to shower with no soap. Sarah at the restaurant spoke to me so rudely when we tried to book in at the restaurant at check in, I received a sigh and frustration on her end because we didn’t have a booking - we did not dine there. However, the lady at reception was really kind and warm. I was feeling unwell in the morning and they allowed us to check out 1 hour later, which was very thoughtful. Parking was easy to attain. The view was nice, but the rooms being as small as they were did not make up for it.

This hoktel is in a fairly remote location with little around it in terms of accommodation or restaurants. That said, they do a decent job with food and drinks. Not great for vegetarian options, however. Also, no lift to the 2nd floor in the hotel, only stairs. But overall, we had a pleasant stay at the Lufra Beach Hotel.

We booked an Ocean View Deluxe King Room. The view is only from a half window and the room is really really small. There’s very little wriggle space in the room and the bathroom room too. Seems like the puctures at the time of booking did not match the room we booked. This hotel is also more expensive compared to another we stayed at in the area with more space, better views and amenities

The room was cramped with no air conditioning and full of mosquitos. The lack of ventilation made sleep on a reasonably warm night difficult. There was no practical place to hang up a coat as the only hanging space was above the desk and kettle. There was no pictures on the wall at all and it looked very bleak house. The kettle had to be boiled on the floor as there was no sockets where it was located, creating a health and safety issue. There was no fan in the room. Chairs in the room were utilitarian and uncomfortable. To summarise we got a poor nights sleep and were bitten by the mosquitos, not a recipe for a happy customer. The room and experience represented poor value for money.

I was disappointed that I had booked an Ocean View room but ended up in a ground floor room with and ocean glimpse. You could say “why didn’t I say something?”. Well by the time I unloaded my motorcycle and put my kit in the room I couldn’t be bothered. This sort of stuff stays on my ‘never return to this hotel list’.
