Novotel Sydney Darling Square

Excellent breakfast, very convenient location, helpful staffs.

It was a great stay. The hotel in so central to everything. The only disappointment was I found the bed a little hard. Apart from that it was great

Clean and good location

Great location was so close to everything. Rooms were good, bed wasn't the most comfortable but wasn't the worst bed I've slept in. Breakfast was OK but we only ate once out of 2 days. Overall, it was a good hotel, and we would definitely stay their again.

Breakfast a little expensive

Great location and all staff were helpful and friendly, even staff members who were just passing in the hallways. Rooms are spacious and bathroom is well appointed. Property is showing some signs of disrepair. Well priced and family friendly even though there was also a lot of business guests

Decent size room and great location for darling harbour and surroundings. Would definitely choose this hotel again

Clean, good service, central to downtown Sydney.

Still by far the best value for money stay with young family. Removed stars on this occasion, on the basis that the fire and evacuation alarm went off. We observed staff who did not follow evacuation processes. There was no warden visible and it was evident staff didn’t participate in the evacuation.

Clean room

Great location to Darling Harbour, Chinatown and Paddys Market.. 2 minute walk. Heaps of restaurants in those areas. Light rail is at Chinatown. 300 metre walk. The breakfast buffet is high quality and I recommend it to start your day. Great stay and would stay again

Convenient location

Parking not easy to find but the hotel and staff were great.

Lovely staff. Great location next to Chinatown and a quick walk to the Convention Centre and Darling Harbour. The only criticisms are the extremely limited menu options, my room and TV had no internet (stuck watching free TV - not experienced this in a long time!), and my mobile phone had limited reception despite being in the Sydney CBD (not the hotel's fault but seriously?!). The room was quite spartan with little to offer by way of extras/indulgences one would expect (eg a minibar). But mostly, what was sad was how loud all of the noise from the corridor was. It felt like anyone opening or closing a door was personally entering your room. Conversations could be heard in the next room. A lot of the rooms overlook a very busy road, if it's views you're after, maybe the higher floors might be better! But great to be so close to Chinatown/that end of Sydney.

Staff was not helpful was the early check in even though I saw few Checkouts happened in front of me. Sent an email to the hotel a week prior about an early che kin and the flight times

Great location, right in Darling Harbour with easy access to lots of restaurants. Easy access to the CBD. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. Overall a lovely hotel to stay at, would go back.

Everything was great but you should fix the light on the sign outside doesnt look good looks like its not been mantained
