Tropicana Motel

Broken items in room need to be replaced. Microwave was helpful. Very very noisy on ground floor and a lot of light comes into the room at night.

The room was clean. In the bathroom there were no shower curtain, no towel hanger . The staff never told me there was a common kitchen where I could have made my diner, It was very noisy. I had to keep the plantation shutters closed at all time for privacy. On the website they don’t any pictures of that room I was very disappointed.

Very convienient to Broadbeach, The place is old but fair prices compared to all the flash places around Comfy bed its value for money

insufficient blankets supplied no water in the fridge ,door lock unserviceable can be opened without the key;this place looks like its on its last legs before demo honestly,and dont expect a quiet nite as the traffic noise is stupid

Staff

Friendly staff. If you’re a light sleeper wouldn’t recommend as it’s next to a main road. Keep in mind it’s not a Hotel so don’t expect those kind of amenities. It’s in a great spot as in close to pacific fair star casino if you like tapping or the restaurants and bars.

The motel is very rundown and over priced. The windows rattled all night. The Stairs up to our room look like they are ready to collapse. The room smelt like spices. The pictures on the website are very creative photography. Plaster wall patches behind every bed and the carpet is very old and dirty. We felt like leaving straight away. We are so disappointed with the accommodation as a family of five ( 2 adults and 3 children). I took pictures of everything.

Wasn’t happy there was dirty underwear and socks under the bed from previous people! Yuck No tea or coffee sugar or biscuits and no shampoo conditioner etc which is complementry is all motels

This place is a health and safety hazard, run downown and eekie. Slippery staircase with rusty frames and cracked concrete to get to the room. In room: blood stains and other sticky stuff on carpet, holes in carpet and wall, filthy toilet roll holder, toilet brush had a lot of wet toilet paper on it, shower caddy falling part, fan was filthy, rusty piece of metal sticking out of patched wardrobe. Person checking us in was very rude, place was very noisy, people (guests or workers) yelling and arguing in carpark at 4am, light on all night by window so very bright in room. All beds were very uncomfortable, sit on it and you touch the base, or try another and feel the springs dig in your back. This place should not be on expedia or any other platform. Photos are not accurate, the first photo shown is actually of a mall across the road which is deceiving. When I showed the person and asked where that was she looked very surprised.....

Just horrific - loud roadworks outside, traffic noise and the highway weren’t good with the very thin walls. There were also bright outside lights right by all the windows so it was very bright even in the middle of the night (iv attached a photo taken at 10:30pm) Grubby marks everywhere and place in very poor condition. If you are thinking “oh it’s just a bed to sleep in I’ll save money” - dont. You won’t sleep at all.

Nice and good location to stay.

Very clean. Comfortable. Great position. Great staff. Unfortunately we lost power and couldn’t make a coffee or charge phones. Staff tried to fix it but couldn’t. Otherwise pretty good for an older motel.

Let me say that the place looks nowhere near as nice as the photo you have here and does not have much roper outdoor space that I saw

Room was good for a family of seven (2 rooms) very clean. Unfortunately you could smell smoke as you walk in the room not managements fault tho. Also the air con was good it was in desperate need of filters and unit to be cleaned
