The Cloud One Salzburg

We stayed one night in this well located hotel. Breakfast was delicious with a wide range of hot and cold food. Our bed was comfortable and the bedroom and bathroom were very clean with good air-con. The hotel had bus stops nearby and it was a short walk to the river. It was a bit expensive but the location near the railway station made it a good choice for us.

Beautiful room! I can truly say that it looked just like the pictures! Even though the square footage of the room seems small by American standards (we were in the smallest room), the layout with the bathroom located around the corner on the outside wall of building made it feel spacious and more than adequate for having two large suitcases splayed open around the room. The fridge with free! Stocked minibar, safe, and nespresso machine are cleverly and beautifully integrated into the wall. The rainfall shower has very very strong water flow (not “sharp” high pressure but very voluminous water) which feels great, although the shower is slightly narrow and there is a grab bar on the wall that is easy for an average sized male to bump into. The breakfast is very good and has both hot and cold food. Loved the very crispy medallion hashbrowns! For the price offered to add breakfast on hotels.com it’s an absolute steal and was the most inexpensive price I’ve encountered in Europe for 5 star hotel. Location is perfect. Very close to train stain and right next to mirabell which is also handy for day trips to lake Wolfgang on bus. The only real negative for us was that the A/C was not quite powerful or cool enough for what we are used to (we are Americans who like to sleep at about 66F/19C degrees year-round at home. Even though the thermostat could go down to 18C/64F there is no way that the AC was actually achieving this. Still, it did provide some coolness from the summer heat.

Excellent hotel. Beautiful. Attention to detail. Friendly and helpful staff. We had two adjoining rooms. Unfortunately, the A/C did not work in one room (during the heat wave). It was frustrating that this problem was not resolved during our stay. But the front desk applied a credit towards our bill. Breakfast was delicious. Excellent Location.

This Hotel is fantastic. Terrific facilities, staff and location. Easy walk to most everything in town. Wonderful staff that are all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast, that was included, is terrific with a very large selection of meats, eggs, cheeses, fruits with breads and deserts. All very fresh. recommend. Terrific dinner as well. Would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend.

They stay was excellent and the location was beyond convenient - we walked to the hotel from the train station and walked pretty much everywhere else we wanted to go. The hotel itself had beautiful rooms and conveniences you would expect, including an excellent breakfast. Due to the weather, we really appreciated the 'free use' umbrella stand they had available for guests. When/if we make it to Salzburg again, we will book our room again at the Hyperion Hotel.

The Hyperion is a great hotel in Salzburg. The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are very clean, spacious and well maintained. The hotel breakfast buffet is top shelf. The hotel is located across from the main park and is within easy walking distance to the old town and castle. Even though there are many fine hotels in Salzburg, this is where I will stay again on my next trip.

Amazing hotel, great service and good location

We had a wonderful stay for four nights at the Hyperion. It is a beautifully furnished and decorated hotel and our rooms were spacious and very well appointed. There was a coffee/ tea machine, fridge, safe, free minibar which was topped up daily and even chocolates every day! The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the breakfast, which was included in our package, was lovely, with lots of choice. The hotel location was perfect! Very close to Mirabel Gardens and a short, flat walk (about 10 minutes) across the river to the old town, where the main attractions are. Probably the best thing though, was the friendly and helpful staff, who went over and above to make our stay as comfortable and easy as possible.

Rooms are nicely appointed and very quiet. Bar & restaurant were nice. Location is convenient as it’s a short walk to the old town. Next door is an Imlauer hotel with a rooftop restaurant/bar which is convenient. Parking could be an issue as the lot is small. Otherwise, Highly Recommended.

The location of hotel was perfect close to everything Salzburg has to offer. It is very spacious and clean. The room had a free mini bar which I was not aware of as I don’t tend to open the mini bar usually. This is a good perk. A couple of chocolates were left by each side of our bed which was a nice touch. Breakfast was first class with omelettes and eggs made to order. Our stay was actually for 6 nights and on Day 2 we had a dreadful smell of drains in the room. This increased on Day 3 resulting in a sleepless night and a request for change of room. The staff eventually provided an upgraded room and a 25% discount on one night’s stay. We would though be more than happy to go back to this high class hotel.

Our recent stay at the Hyperion was incredible! The room was very clean, staff was helpful and attentive. When the turn down service came by and realized the mini bar had not been restocked, he right away left and came back with the necessary items we requested! The hotel is beautiful inside and out. Breakfast from the hotel restaurant had a wonderful street view and the variety and selection of food and beverages available were delicious. Perfect way to start each busy day! Location was great too! Close walk to the old city and easy to navigate the streets. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others and would definitely stay here again ourselves!
