Itajubá Hotel

Minha experiência foi bastante negativa. O hotel tem estrutura muito antiga e mal conservada, com móveis velhos, elevadores que dão trancos ao parar e passam sensação de insegurança, além de cobertores antigos e desconfortáveis. A TV praticamente não oferece utilidade, já que não é smart e não pegava praticamente nada. O atendimento também deixou a desejar, com exceção de um recepcionista que foi prestativo. No geral, a equipe demonstrou pouca disposição para orientar e ajudar com informações básicas. Outro ponto que me incomodou bastante foi a localização e a sensação de insegurança durante a noite. A rua é estreita, muito deserta e o entorno passa pouca sensação de segurança, o que tornou a experiência desconfortável. Pela minha experiência, não recomendo a hospedagem.

There was a super king size bed in the room which took up most of the room and made placing luggage and moving about difficult, a double bed would have been plenty and then there would have been room to move. The staff were very friendly and helpful, air conditioning was good and the location of the Hotel was excellent being close to parks, municipal theatre etc. Will stay again but we will make sure we get a room with more space. Breakfast was the usual Brazilian hotel breakfast and was fine.

Low rated because of the very bad internet connection, the uncomfortable bed and the low quality breakfast but convenient location and staff friendly

Terrible experience. The hotel didn’t have the services listed to the hotel description. Expedia was not able to even contact the hotel. I lost time, money, and had a very bad experience at the hotel. I am leaving Expedia too. They were not able to resolve my issues.

Good located

No provision for early arrivals. After traveling 13 hours by plane was asked to wait 6 hours for a room. they wanted $10 per bag to hold them until check-in. The only restroom available was up steep stairs(I am unable to walk up to it.) I paid $70 to get into the room early. The lobby was full of others waiting for check-in. There were no healthy options for the daily breakfast. They made a mistake about my end date causing me to pack and when they discovered I had another day, they offered another room (which I declined.)

The hotel is good but old

I stay sep 6 to 10, 2024 elevators don't work, dirty, bedsheets with hair, refrigerator and tv don't work. Just part of the decoration. Staff member with bad actitud and only speak portuguese. I was ask 11 times if i was checking out. Front desk staff would not let me into my room becase they didn't understand the room number. DON'T STAY HERE ALSO HOMELESS PEOPLE SLEEPING IN FRONT OF THE HOTEL WITH IRINE AND FECAL REMEINS 10 FEET FROM THE BUILDING.

Really good hotel, clean, comfotable, near everything. Good breakfast with fruits, cakes, breads and grains. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The building is old, but thats the beauty of the city. Downtown Rio has a lot of homeless people, but if u be carefull (not show ur phone and valuable items) you'll be fine. The hotel is in a convenient location, near the busses, metro stations and vlt, and there are a bunch of good restaurants around it too. Will definitely be returning.
