Enormous well equipped studio apartment. Beautiful view from the balcony and a fantastic breakfast in the morning.

I would avoid booking this hotel for the following reasons;
- they “upgraded” our room which felt like a downgrade, we didn’t need more floor space.
- they carried our suitcase by the wheel which broke it.
- Rooms were tidy but not really clean, more like a serviced apartment where it depends on how the person before left it.
- breakfast was very limited.
- they forgot to charge
Some positives;
- one reception staff member was really nice
- pool and gym were decent (indoor pool)
- it was reasonably cheap, but so were lots of other options.

We booked this hotel based on the photographs on Expedia as the hotel looked charming with historical features.
Our expectations were smashed when we arrived at the wrong hotel - very similar name, owned by same company. Not a good sign when the taxi can’t find it, and google search links only to the 5 star sister hotel. We were tired after a long day travelling, but thankfully the staff at the 5-star, arranged a tuk tuk to take us to where we were meant to be. After checking in we couldn’t believe how far from the website photos the room looked. VERY basic, with towels that were originally white, now slightly yellowed, linoleum that was heavily marked, and a kitchen that felt dirty. If we were staying longer than one night we would have checked out and gone to another hotel immediately. There are no restaurants or bars within easy walking distance, and the staff were polite but not friendly. Rated 4-star, it barely makes 3 star. Would find it difficult to recommend this hotel to anyone.

Loved staying at the hotel.
We were in a lovely apartment which suited our family needs. Breakfast was lovely. Staff were friendly and very accommodating! All around the area was perfect to walk and sightsee.

The staff was friendly and helpful. They assisted with all inquiries. We had 5 rooms, one room had roaches and we were given another room. There were additional roaches seen in that room. A through spraying is probably needed on a regular basis, several times a year.

We were exceptionally greeted from staff with welcoming drink for a family of four (and for other guests to see us). The hotel have both colonial and modern touches. We upgraded to family suite for the next day. Again we were kindly taken care of with their superb service. Highly recommend this hotel on what they have to offer.
