We found Chateau Logue to be a simple, quiet and comfortable place to stay. The only things we might suggest is having proper pillows on the bed(one was a small square throw pillow with a pillow case over it) and having bilingual signage on everything, not just some things :-).
Overall we would stay again.

The Chateau was under renovation last year and it looks like they never finished. There were drywall patches that were never painted. The carpets were filthy. The dining room and bar are closed! The location is great and with some TLC the facilities can be again, but not right now.

There seems to be a glitch in the reservation system at this hotel. We were charged twice for our one-night stay: first in advance online and then again at check-in (though for a slightly different amount). While we were eventually reimbursed by the hotel for the extra bill we had paid at check-in, the seemingly ill-trained front-desk clerk didn't know how to access the Expedia system (to verify our original payment), or when to call a manager for help.
The hotel and facilities were great, and we hope to return next time we visit the Maniwaki area. It's also very good value, but we'll avoid paying in advance through Expedia.

Third time returning. No perks, restaurant closed, construction in hallway and grass cutting really early in the morning. We asked to be on the other side of the hotel because our last stay was in the exact same room and grass cutting / leaf blower occurred also really early right by our hotel window. We left early with a sour taste of our visit
