David Hotel

Wonderfully located, perfectly equipped and very clean. I loved the convenience and security! On a side street so also quiet. Bed was super comfortable. The space is extensive. Highly highly recommend David Hotel.

There is much to recommend this hotel: location is ideal; room was spacious and clean. It has a full kitchen, and a clothes washer and dryer. It is not ideal if you wish to work n the room as there is no desk and to sit at the counter you need to use an uncomfortable steel stool. While there were cooking utensils, oddly there was no cutlery! The hotel and the area is undergoing renovation -- not necessarily a problem if you are out all day. But on day 2 of my stay -- a Friday -- the drilling and hammering in the suite next door started at 06:00 and continued throughout the morning. Unacceptable! While I communicated through the provided channels, like most new hotels with no front desk, there was zero response from management.

No amenities but a very comfortable room, very well located in Old Montreal, excellent remote check-in process

The hotel was adorable. Unfortunately they were doing construction in the building, starting at 6am so it was hard to feel relaxed.

Excellent experience at this property. Loft was exactly as describe, staff was helpful and responsive. There are a ton of restaurants and bars very close.

A note to anyone who reads this... from my personal perspective, David Hotel does some things extra well and others "not so much" So, whether you would like it or not depends a lot on your expectations. David Hotel is very well located in the old part of Montreal and the owners have cleverly figured out a great way to operate a hospitality business with no visible staff. My "loft" room was spacious and very well laid out...in a style I'd describe as modern minimalist-industrial. They provide a detailed "boarding pass", which provides access codes for the building and for your room and, if you're a detailed reader, you'll have everything your need to check-in and check out...on your own. However, I'm not a detailed person. I travel a lot and when I arrive at a true hotel, I don't want to be troubled with reading manuals and inputting pass-codes. So, I think Hotels.com should be more clear about what to expect. This is NOT a direct substitute for a Holiday Inn; Four Points; etc. There is no parking. There is no check-in counter. I had to park my vehicle on some pretty sketchy streets and haul my luggage and 5 work-related boxes up stairs into the David Hotel...and then hand-bomb them through 2 sets of locked doors and down two hallways (no luggage cart). And in the morning, I had to reverse the process. One last thing...the room features a large screen tv, but no "channels". So, its good for streamers, but I couldn't watch shows that I'd normally find in a hotel

I liked the David Hotel a lot! I had a very pleasant experience. I was here on a work trip and it worked out well. I would definitely stay here with my husband on a personal trip.

Ease of use and communication with the staff was fantastic. The hotel was a nice change of environment central to downtown Montreal. For the locations get many different options of goods and services. Look forward to returning to this location and seeing the new renovations.

Great room and location. It was well equipped with everything we needed, except maybe Kleenex. We loved our room/apartment. Great place to stay for longer than a weekend, with the full kitchen and washer and dryer. Sound proofing could be better, but it wasn’t a problem for us.

Washroom layout is not great and the equipment are kind of old. Everything else is great!
