Quality Inn & Conference Centre

So many difficulties at check-in, had to cancel and re process them like 3 times m, had kids who got impatient, was over charged, then had to call Expedia to sort that out. No tissues in the room, our key cards stopped working 3 times and then clearly was locked out of room, once with the dogs and the kids early in the morning in our jammies, the other time was wet from the pool with kids who had to Pooh, and then another time we had our conpeltle hands full trying to leave with food and everything sorry it was a bit annoying.

Unfortunately there was still food in the mini fridge from the last people. Which grossed me out and questioned the cleanliness of the place. The bathroom had a massive crack in the counter near the sink. Staff were nice for check in/check out. The pool was super clean and beautiful! Breakfast was very yummy, many options! Lots of parking space, but a lot of potholes- needs more light at the front. Location is overall central to everything. Chucks and Kelsey’s across the street. Lili’s Italian and Nare Japanese Restaurants were less than 10 mins away (both highly recommended)!

Breakfast was good. Staff were friendly. Older well maintained building. They need to upgrade TV's in the room.

Staff isn't helpfull when asking directions to bathrooms and or rooms inside the hotel. Wallpaper falling down in the hallways and in the rooms bathroom doors get stuck hard to open and close. Been there 2 times both time hot tub closed. No notice, no heads up no apologies no compensation. The whole reason we stay is for the pool and the hottub for our special needs daughter

Second time staying here. Requires some TLC bathroom door needs paint, paint chips on most doors. Rooms a little tired. Electrical services covered over with metal plates. One fire door does not close automatically. Rooms are definitely not soundproof as we had staff carrying on a loud conversation outside our door but did not include us in their dialogue. Glad we were up as this was about 8:20 AM. That being said we would return. Room was clean , bed although a little soft was comfortable. Bathroom clean,but you couldn't fully open the door as someone in their infinite wisdom installed a curved shower rod which prevented that! Fluffy towels that actually dried. Tub was a little slippery. Hot tub and pool were ideal to ease aching muscles. Breakfast buffet in the Atrium was decent with hot selections. Something for everyone. Staff was very friendly and efficient. Overall a pleasant stay for 2 nights at a reasonable cost.

Rooms were clean, staff was courteous, parking abundant, and the breakfast and pool were amazing

Room was super old and the place was musty smelling. Children were running around at night banging on doors and screaming.

Friendly staff and the place is clean , big breakfast area, really good for a family.

We found bed bugs and so did another customer.

Old but maintained property, key differentiator is amenities, staff and overall services. Good value for money.

We were seriously disappointed in the accommodations this stay at the Quality Inn. We go to Midland every year at this time and usually stay here and it’s always been nicely kept and clean. This time upon checkin we were put in 101- the motel at the back of the property. The outdoor grounds were completely littered with cigarette butts and food garbage that had been ripped apart and a broken shopping cart upside down. Once inside the room there was an overwhelming smell of mold and mildew. The furniture was from the 60s and the room was in disrepair. I went to the front desk and asked if there was another room they could put us in because I was not going to sleep in that room. I was told that because we where travelling with a pet, there was 1 more option, so we where given a room inside the main hotel, but in the basement. This room was a bit of an improvement but not much. It still smelled like mold. The lamp didn’t work, there were holes in the wall where pictures once hung. The bathroom door would not latch shut. The heat light in the bathroom was shorting out. There were bugs in the tub and behind the toilet. The carpet looked like it had not been vacuumed and there were food remnants on the desk. The shower curtain was a ratty dirty looking fabric that was instantly soaked. There was hot water for the first 2 mins of the shower. There was a hot breakfast that was good, but not a fan of eating with wooden utensils. We didn’t use any of the other facilities.

It was OK. But it did smell quite strong of chlorine due to the pool and certain areas smelled like cigarettes.

Breakfast menu was great. There as a variety of breakfast items to choose from.
