RS Suites - Eaton Centre

Do NOT stay here. It was DISGUSTING. Blood, semen, makeup, and hair all over. No clean towels. No soap. Nothing on the walls. It was like a crack den in a crack neighbourhood

This was my experience: 1) Upon arriving I had to deal with 3 seperate emails dealing with payment, then deposit, then access. 2) There were 30 lockboxes upon first site. There were at least 10 lockboxes on the row where my box was located, and it was in tight quarters and hard read both the identifying box and combination #'s. 3) There weren't any washcloths. I called them to make them aware of it. They did not send anyone out during my entire 5 day 4 night stay! I had to purchase my own washcloths. Their initial response to my requests for washcloths was "It's up you to do what you want since there isn't anyone to give you a washcloth" I ask myself would I have had the same experience at a hotel.

Comfy bed, Apartment super clean. Amenties sufficient. Great for 2 persons.

I wanted to say some things about our stay. I appreciated how clean it was and the views were great. Comfy beds and the apartment was well furnished. But we did have some disappointing experiences and you need to know. The a/c never once worked. The room was so so hot and I had to go purchase my own cooling unit (over $120). The ceiling fire alarms had no batteries and I had to replace them on my own (they went off multiple times and kept us up as they continued to beep even after batteries were replaced). This is a major oversight and a true safety concern. No one renting this place should be concerned that the fire alarm isn’t working as it should. Also, The shower head was loose when we got there so the first shower soaked the walls and got my fiancées make up bag wet (it was beside the sink, far from the shower). We paid a lot of money for these simple things to work. They may not seem like a big deal but when they keep you up late, and cost me more money, it doesn’t leave me happy. This trip cost me the cooking unit I had to buy, batteries and my time. I hope you understand how these things can make the experience not worth coming back. I’d like to know what you think regarding all of this

It was a great experience.

Deceptive pricing and zero fee transparency. I had to repeatedly chase them for screenshots of what I was being charged. The bed was awful, and the traffic noise made sleep nearly impossible. And the kicker? A hefty security deposit that they hang on to for up to a week after checkout. Would not recommend.

Nightmare of a system to get checked in. We asked for early check in and they said the cleaner can take our bags in the room but check in wasn’t until 4:00pm. We could not get ahold of them after 4 until we called expedia and then they sent us the check in instructions at 5:00 which gave us the info for a sketchy lockbox room to get the key. We checked the lockbox and the key was not in there, after calling back they said they would send someone to let us in and it was the cleaner finally finishing at 5:15. The room was okay but very poor communication and had us wondering if we were being scammed the whole time, and we wasted over 2 hours of our day trying to sort it out. Don’t bother.

There was no AC even though I spoke with the property management. They said they were looking at fixing it. It was 26° inside and it was like 31° outside and they said they were fixing it, but it was just blowing warm air the whole time and it wasn’t until the next day like when we were getting ready to leave a half an hour before that the AC came on they said they were working on a top priority, but we literally were lucky that we could open the balcony door once it cooled down outside to be able to get some like cool air for the apartment to go down there is five of us and that small condo.

We checked in and the room was still dirty from the previous guests… the check in time was set for 4pm and that still didnt give you enough time to clean the room ? The lady came to clean the room at 6pm and we were left with only one towel and the remainder of the room was dirty including sheets, bathroom and all the towels.. the fact that this place has the audacity to charge that much night with service like that is ridiculous!

The rooms were simple but nice and there were no issues with the accommodation of the room itself. The issue I have is with the staff and the fact that I cannot get my refund of the security deposit. There is no customer support as I have been trying for months to some form of feedback on the matter.

Best and easiest self check in I’ve had in Toronto so far. No scavenger hunt for keys, staff was very willing to answer any quick questions. Parking right beside & Starbucks right next to your stay, what more can you ask for after long travels.

The process for getting into the location took an hour and a half! Never ever again. Checking in should not add stress to your experience. I wish I had chosen a hotel and the next time I will.

All around 10/10. Amazing view! Easy entrance and directions on how to check in, helpful staff. Clean and gorgeous room. Would book again!

Expedia says 4pm check in but it’s 5pm extra charge to check in early. Also says parking on site but it’s a separate pay and display lot across the road. Had to go add more time early in the morning. Check-in instructions are missing a few details but overall good clean room and location downtown Toronto, no front desk but call centre is responsive. Door to tiny patio could not be opened, 43rd floor.

Everything was smooth.

Le logement était petit mais parfait pour moi et ma fille. Nous étions à 30 minutes de marche de Union Station, à 15 minutes du St.Lawrence market, à 30 minutes du Distillery District, à 10 minutes du Eaton Center et à 5 minutes du Dondas-Yonge Square. Un Métro (épicerie) est à 2 coins de rue. J’ai nettoyé certaines poignées de porte, l’équipement de cuisine était très limité (mini chaudron sans couvercle, pas de passoire pour pâte, pas de spatule, pas d’huile pour la cuisson, et le couvercle de la machine à café était manquant donc se faire un café sans mettre de l’eau partout était un défi.) Les transports en commun étaient faciles mais notre ligne de métro était en réparation. Il y a beaucoup d’itinérants dans le coin, on voit beaucoup de pauvreté et de misère, mais Montréal n’est guère mieux. La communication avec les RS Suites était facile. Bref, je recommande ce logement.
