This was a smoke free facility however the overwhelming smell of marijuana and cigarettes on the second floor was overbearing. My thirteen year old was exposed and this was disheartening as we stayed from saturday to Thursday. The washing machine and dryer were unavailable for use. We asked for extra blankets two nights in a row and we never got them first nor last. Our toilet paper stock was two rolls when we arrived and was not replenished during our stay. We used kleenex for the last evening and morning. The cleaning staff walked into our room two mornings during our stay and our bed sheets were used to redress the bed not changed to be washed like to be expected. The key cards needed to be adjusted each day as they would not work to unlock doors day to day. Disappointed to say the least.

Upon arrival we learned the gym and pool were closed due to tv filming going on at the hotel, we should have been informed of that when booking. After checking in and unpacking, we had to be relocated to another room because of loud noises coming through the ceiling and walls (apparently a water pipe/pressure problem). Then the key cards to the new room didn't work and we had to go back down to the front desk to get that sorted (no apology from staff at all). New room missing a few items - face cloths, shampoo, bed coverlet. Asked front desk in the morning to provide these things. Not only did the items not come, but our room did not get cleaned at all. Key cards stopped working again in the afternoon and we had to get that fixed again at front desk. Wi-fi very spotty entire 2-day stay.

Building is at the end of its lifespan. It’s dated and all surfaces are scuffed or peeling. The location is very good though with the LTR right at the front of property. I stepped on carpet tacks on the threshold between the bathroom and entrance. Front desk offered to move me to room next door but it wasn’t as clean as the room I was staying in so I remained. Pool was closed. Wanted to use gym but staff cleaning on lower level didn’t seem to want me there. There was a pile of food waste and containers next to the water filling station / vending machine on my floor so I went to the lobby to get water.
