The hotel is beautiful, as was our room. The staff was exceedingly nice and helpful. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the lounge. I would particularly like to thank the concierge, Fisher Zheng, who arranged a terrific tour to the Great Wall and Summer Palace, with our wonderful guide, Jennifer. In addition to being an excellent guide, Jennifer recommended two terrific restaurants near the hotel.

Hotel is centrally located and ten minutes walk from subway station. It is not a highrise but a ~12 story building so not much view from the rooms. My wife and I stayed in a Premier Residence Club King room. It was a massive suite of ~800 sq ft. with 1.5 baths. This is probably the nicest hotel room we ever stayed in. Room was clean and everything works as expected. Club rooms include afternoon tea, happy hour, and breakfast buffet, which was good with both Chinese and Western options. Indoor pool is big enough for laps. Staffs (front desk and house keeping) are all friendly and helpful. Pool staff even lend me her swim cap as caps are required for pool use. We will definitely stay here again next time in Beijing.

The moment we checked in, we had a great experience at New World Beijing hotel.
Not only did they upgraded us to a bigger room (for free!) but all the facilities are beautiful. Love the pool and spa, the rooftop bar (good cocktails and nice view) and the restaurant is delicious. I will recommend to include the breakfast in your booking. The location is very convenient (close to a lot of attractions) and all the recommendations made by the concierge, Fisher, were wonderful. A big plus is they have a strict no smoking policy, contrary to others hotels we went.
I will highly recommend this hotel!

The New World Hotel is a perfect option.The place is clean,service is perfect , breakfast and lunch have a huge selection. The A la Carte restaurant on the 2nd floor is Michelin Star level and more importantly the Concierge Fisher , is the most professional and nicest person in China.
