The property itself is nice but the amenities and facilities within the room were quite limited, while the price for this was relatively high. A pretty nice view from the 9th floor though.

The fasility of the hotel is old but well maintained. Doors are made of heavy wood, and the forcet is made of thick real marble. In my stay I felt rich history of this hotel. The location is wonderful. A brand new shopping center is right across the street. Subway station which has 3 lines running through is just 3 mins walk. Though I do not see many of western people, Marriot carries good service in Shanghai still.

Hotel manager (I am assuming he is) gave me an extra bed upgrade while he know we have 3 people stayed but only 2 twin beds. Lots of good resaurants around and few minutes walking distance to the train station.
