One of the best hotels we’ve ever been! We love every part of it!

One of the best resorts, the best staff of any hotel that i have ever seen. They were very welcoming, caring and always ready to help. During my stay in Costa Rica, I stayed at another more expensive property but did not find the same warmth and enjoyment. I came to regret not putting all my days at Nayara, a sentiment that was shared unanimously in my group. Usually don’t write reviews, I think this place deserves the praise.

Beyond our expectations! From the time they picked us up from the airport until they dropped us off, they even surprised us with prosecco and a cake for my husband’s birthday.

I have owned a spa for 20 years and travel around the world to visit spas. Nayara has my favorite service of any spa I have been to, it is called the signature Nayara experience. Angelia was my therapist and she is wonderful. The staff members are excellent and even remember your name. We had excellent service from two of the Managers, Carolina and Luis. Both went out of their way to ensure we had special experiences. Luis with a special dinner and Carolina reprinting a couple of pictures for us and putting them in frames. No matter what we asked of her it was done in a quick and efficient way. This is our 10th visit and we plan on returning later this year. The grounds are beautiful but the staff makes it the top property that it is.

Absolutely everything about this stay was amazing! I couldn’t have asked for a better vacation. The room was the best I’ve ever stayed in. The staff treated me like a queen. The best massage after hiking 500 steps up and down to get to La Fortuna waterfall. 10/10 air conditioning and pools for when Costa Rica gets hot.

Everything was a dream. The facilities are extremely nice, the service is outstanding, amenities are awesome. We loved the room, the resort restaurants and wine bar. Our favorites were the espresso bar and the hot springs! The gym could be a little bigger, but loved the yoga area too!

The service, ability to go and use am entities at all three resorts - tented camp, gardens and springs. Absolutely beautiful property !

The property is absolutely beautiful, with stunning architecture, lush gardens, hanging bridges, and impeccably maintained grounds that feel very private and peaceful. The rooms are spacious, elegant, and thoughtfully designed. Our room offered a lovely view of the Arenal Volcano and included an outdoor jacuzzi, an outdoor shower, and an indoor shower. We were also fortunate to see two toucans directly from our room, which was a special highlight. Overall, our experience was mixed. The staff was attentive and friendly, but did not seem sincere. The food was generally mediocre and overpriced. Breakfast was particularly disappointing, as it felt prepackaged rather than freshly prepared. The front desk recommended the Middle Eastern fusion restaurant, which did not meet our expectations, though the wine list was excellent. The Italian restaurant, Mis Amores, stood out as the best dining option on the property and also offered the best service. The staff at Mis Amores were genuinely welcoming and authentic. Their warmth felt sincere, and their interactions reflected their personality and culture rather than rehearsed courtesy. The spa treatments were underwhelming for the price. That said, I would return for the beautiful rooms, lush gardens, and overall setting, which are truly exceptional.

Highly Recommended for your trip to La Fortuna. You feel like you are in a different world. The property is huge. Perfect Classy stay!

Mixed reactions for this resort. The resort and the surroundings is beautiful. The Peruvian / Costa Rican was one of our best meals. The breakfast was also fulfilling. Why the low rating on our side? Well, one of our neighbors (full of teenagers) was quite noisy - going into 11pm-12am screaming. We alerted the hotel staff numerous times. Alonzo, shame on you, picked up the phone and was in no way empathetic and did not know how to handle this situation. His response to my wife, "they are guests, too". Excuse me?!?! and what made it worse, he wanted to come to our room and get a sampling of the noise himself. Come on now ?!?! -- "come into our room?" This was so ridiculous. That is not how a 5 star resort handles noisy guests and turn down hours. They need to better train their staff on protocols or reprimand this staff member. This pretty much ruined our multi night stay here. The management next morning was regretful, but it cannot take back our night. Because of this, it's a shame -- we cannot fully recommend this resort.

Rainforest Villa was amazing very clean, staff was awesome at all times, chefs were great, enough options for dinner in the resort as well as amenities where you dont have to leave the resort make sure to eat at la terazza as chef John is awesome. The resort feels like you right in the middle of the rainforest full of beautiful lush landscapes.

Everything was awesome except the massage. For a massage which costs 900$, the experience was underwhelming and it was a bad massage

We just had a fabulous time. The entire staff went out of their way to accommodate every need we had or wished for other than we wanted to stay another night, obviously not their fault!!

We stayed here for our honeymoon. It was an amazing experience. All of the staff was friendly and attentive. The rooms and facilities were clean. We received outstanding service truly a five star experience.
