I have stayed at this hotel many times, but this was my first time in the Queen City room. The reception staff are always very pleasant, friendly, and welcoming — the customer service truly makes you feel at home. I enjoyed my stay overall; however, the bathroom setup could be improved. The shower area caused water to spread across the floor, and although the provided squeegee was helpful, it wasn’t an optimal solution. A small shower cabin or a raised edge could prevent the water from flowing out and make the bathroom much more practical for guests

Excellent room friendly staff convenient and good breakfast. Recommended Wasn't offered a drink voucher or room upgrade but arrived late thanks to the incompetents at SAS

It was a very nice stay. However, I was a little surprised that right after booking I was told that there was only breakfast in the restaurant for two days and then it was a breakfast box because the restaurant was being renovated. It was really annoying. It was also a good thing I had my own pillow. Hotel pillows are, as in this case, hopeless. You could also hear the renovation to a certain extent. The floor was being tidied up and there was noise throughout the hotel. It ended at 6 pm. It was quite annoying. The room was quiet though and the bed was of really good quality and had a very nice view of the city. It was quiet. The hotel has a practice of not cleaning the room unless you ask for it. That's kind of ok. But it also means that the toilet can be a bit disgusting and that the garbage piles up. And there is no way to sort the garbage. Which I think is a shame.
