When we originally got there, we were given a ground floor room that was dark and dingy and freezing. There were also someone’s dirty socks left in the shelf. There was also a wedding going on and the room we were given was right next to it so was very loud. I spoke to the reception and they were nice enough and moved us to the top floor this room was also small and the beds didn’t even feel like full size double. My husband got a shower and the shower fell off the wall while he was in it. There were also dirty marks on the toilet. Although the music was quieter from here, you could still hear it way past midnight.

I have stayed a the hotel a few times and have always enjoyed my stay. It is a lovely hotel, the bar area is very nice and rooms are nicely presented. My only criticism this time is we were in quite a noisy room, ( 11 ) with creaking floorboards, running water, toilets flushing in surrounding rooms. As a consequence my daughter and I didn’t have the best nights sleep. I mentioned to the lady on reception when checking out but she completely ignored my comment. If I stay again which I likely will I don’t want room 11!

Lovely hotel in the beautiful village of Alderley Edge. Easy to find, plently of parking and the staff were all very friendly and genuine. The room itself was well presented, very clean and comfortable. Useful amenities with plenty of tea bags, coffee milk etc with lovely biscuits. The restaurant was fantastic, good lighting comfy seats great atmosphere eith attentive and friendly staff. The food was very good, and the fish was the size of a shark! The chunky triple cooked chips are highly recommended 👌 All in all a great stay was had, thank you, we will be back.

Hotel was lovely and the staff were friendly and helpful. However the room was very small and the shower overflowed and flooded the bathroom when my partner uses it, so I wasn’t able to have a shower. Apparently it’s an issue with the drain.
