I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and always happy to help with anything I needed. The staff were lovely, in particular, Ali on the front desk. The accessible room needs some shelving in the bathroom as there nowhere to put anything, not even on the sink. Great hotel. Good location

We arrived early knowing that bag storage was our only objective, the receptionist was fine with that but told us they only had 1 housekeeper so our 3pm room would not be available till 4pm, which was inconvenient as we had plans set to start about 5pm. We returned at 4 to use the room for a quick shower to find only 1 bath towel and an extra hand towel. We were told of another housekeeping plight which could not be immediately resolved. Note I checked and they still had rooms available so had they been full who knows how they would have managed. Things did improve, but the start made for a bad experience. The “no-window” room was in a basement floor and I’d not have selected that room had I known so better description would have helped. Throughout our stay multiple large bags of laundry sat in the very small area at the foot of the stairs/entrance to the lift - this area also being part of the fire evacuation route. We elected not to take a “breakfast rate” as we were visiting family close by. I’d have been even more disappointed if I had the selection was very very limited in an area, genuinely, smaller than my home lounge or kitchen. I’m stagger Best Western, a brand I’ve used over the years in many locations, allow this to in their portfolio. I chose the larger groups in the believe there would be a consistency of standards, sadly an incorrect theory. BW unlikely to be on my list again unless I’ve very limited options. Would I stay again - NO.

No-window basement room booked for 2-nights. Perfectly ok small room with double bed, which was very comfortable, and air conditioned of course. Some noise from nearby rooms but otherwise fine. 10-min walk to a couple of rail/underground stations. A few local restaurants in the Little Portugal area.

My single bed room was small but quiet. It was in the basement, no windows. But that helped to keep it quiet. Hot water kettle, AC, and TV all worked okay. Towels, coffee, tea, sugar, cream were restocked daily. Breakfast was scrambled eggs, sausages, toast, Danish, juices, fresh fruit, cereals, milk, coffee and tea. Check in and out was easy.

Nice little fine. Will definitely stay again when in London. Easy reach of the main line train station and the tube into central London. Great little Portuguese café on the corner for breakfast in the morning if you don’t have it at the hotel..

No window in the room, just a skylight, which was filthy. Aircon didn’t work and no instructions. Double bed was tiny. I’m 6’2” and my entire feet hung off the bed. Check in staff was nice, but not worth the money at all. Terrible sleep

The room was in the basement so no window not really a problem. I did mean very little London Noise. The main problem the bed is just 4'6" a standard double which in this day and age for 2 adults is a bit small so not the best nights sleep.

Great budget hotel. Really impressed with how clean the rooms were and all the amenities offered. Well located for what I needed, a short walk to Vauxhall and Nine Elms tube stations. Much better than a lot of nearby budget hotels, a world apart in fact. Definitely stay here again. The staff were very friendly, always greeting you and making you feel welcome.
