Spotless hotel, the rooms were very modern and the staff very friendly

Low standard (like a lot of hotels in London) hotel but good location.

Great location (10 minutes from the tube), clean, excellent customer service, small room with all the facilities needed for a short break. Only gripe - prefer a king bed but appreciate rooms are too small to fit one in!

We were very disappointed with our stay. We expected a boutique hotel having purposely avoided a larger hotel. The room had no windows!! It was like being in a cell. To get into bed I jad to climb across my partner because it was impossible to walk down the side of the bed. If we had paid for budget I might have understood but we paid over £200. Daylight robbery. We wanted a romantic weekend but the room was very disorientating and claustrophobic. Unpleasant.

Clean and reasonably spacious. Only a skylight. Great location, handy for Vauxhall transport hub, only minutes to centre. Tait Britain, Battersea PS and even Parliament Square walkable. Gail’s and excellent Cafe Parco (in Vauxhall park) nearby for breakfast, Estrella Portuguese restaurant (almost) next door is good, too. Supermarkets etc at Vauxhall.

The room was very clean and the staff was friendly but I was placed at -1 floor. The room was hot, the Aircon took some time to work. I had no phone signal and I could hear the conversation next door loud and clear. I slept well but overall it's not good value for money (£250 per night) Perhaps the rooms above floor -1 are better?

Perfect location for my needs. Small newly refurbished hotel is very nicely done. Staff very helpful and customer focused. Sadly the aircon in my room didn’t work properly otherwise I’d have given a 5 star rating. Room was very small (typical London). Breakfast pretty good. I would book again.

Really comfortable hotel. We had tremendous service from the moment we arrived, checking in, but also at breakfast and checking out. Every part of the hotel is exceptionally clean and we will definitely stay again when we are in the area.

Bed was too small

The rooms are very very small , otherwise clean , new well decorated.

came from NY TO watch the test match between India and England at the Kia Oval, only a 10-12 minute walk to from the hotel through quiet back streets. It was ideal for me. Apart from another property across the stadium this is the only property that is within a short walking distance to the stadium, so you don't have to mess around with trains which were packed with spectators to the venue. Since I was alone the hotel was perfect. I took an executive room which was on the smallish side but it was reasonable priced at 179 quid and it had everything that I wanted. It was quiet, clean, had a safe, bottles of water, kettle coffee etc. Also had cable, wifi etc. The mattress was very comfortable and I slept really well for the three nights that I stayed. The area too is very safe. some evenings I walked to vauxhall station about 12-15 minutes away to catch the train to see friends andother times I took an uber and came back pretty late. at no point did I feel unsafe. There are several Portuguese restaurants within a few minutes of walking, one of which I dined in and the food was delicious. There is a pub called canton arms, very popular and excellent, a little walk away. I had drinks there. also convenience store etc. The people in the front desk there 24 x7, who were super helpful. One manager Pavan advised me which trains to take from Heathrow to Vauxhall which cost only 7.5 quid as opposed to a taxi which would have been around 70 quid. I would go back again for sure .

Nice clean room close to the us embassy - the purpose of our visit. Nothing to dislike and both receptionists we saw were extra friendly and helpful delaying our check in in case we needed longer. Didn’t have any food so no comment on that but everything was great.

Well located. Quiet street. Tiny room and very small bed ruined it a bit!

Hotel was about a 10 minute walk from the Vauxhall Underground and train station and about an 8 min walk from the Nine Elms Underground stop. There are several food options close to the Vauxhall stations. Room itself was small and clean. Shower was tiny. We went for a long walk to Buckingham Palace and it was about a 35-40 minute walk. We went over the Vauxhall Bridge and that offered a nice view in the distance of the London Eye. There is a hairdryer, body wash, lotion, and shampoo/conditioner in the room with an iron available upon request. We did not drive or purchase breakfast, so I can't speak to either of those. We went to the SW8 Laundromat to wash clothes and it was very clean and about a 4 minute walk from hotel. The machines take cash or cards, which made it very convenient. Staff was very nice and helpful. There is a lift as well. Would recommend.

I had a great stay. Very quiet and clean. Very friendly reception and breakfast bar staff. Easy walking to Vauxall tube and train station with connection to Gatwick. Also in a convenient bus route to Vauxhall and Victoria Station. My only minor quibble was room size. I was hard to have a suitcase on a rack and open the door properly but that's a common London problem. Otherwise highly recommend.
