The hotel is well looked after staff are always helpful its a perfect location for bp pulse it's just 1 minute walk away

Receptionists were very friendly and gave us all the information needed. Breakfast had everything you could want and evening meal was fantastic. We would definitely return in the future.

The rooms are very dated and stuffed with unnecessary furniture creating a suffocating feeling - 1980’s at its finest. The front desk attendant very unfriendly too

Ideal for what we wanted- perfect location for BP Pulse arena & nec

Good location (NEC) and car park (daily charge ). Bit of a steep walk down to lake or go through restaurant Staff nice. Very helpful with any requests. Lifts and main entrance maybe check revolving door etc. Hotel fire alarms went off once after 1am problem with showers /steam woke everyone up. Mentioned to reception the next day. Hotel chain maybe rectify a few things mentioned. Noticed no welcome letter or info to explain shower. Very nice hotel and the interior is stylish and amazing for photos. Views of the lake from some areas. Looks stunning at sunset.

Excellent attentive staff in the bar/restaurant made sure everyone was served during a busy time at a convention. Room was comfortable and clean of outdated. Plenty of plugs, no USBs. Great location for NEC and Resorts World.

Was a nice hotel. Only there for one night for an event in Birmingham

Great hotel just minutes away from the NEC, Birmingham Airport and Birmingham International station. Breakfast was good and drinks were even better.

Paid 260 quid for a junior suite, dinner and breakfast. Arrived and checked in ok. Room was ok but it wasnt well kept. The desks and cupboard were warn and chipped. Bed was hard and my duvet was a single put in a king size duvet cover. Mini bar was empty and room poor for a 4 star hotel. I stayed at much better. Dinner wasnt great either. Caeser salad was old leaves and chicken tasted reheated in the microwave. When i complained all i got was I will tell the chef. Chips were a bit soggy and the gammon was chewy and not very hot. Drinks were ridiclously priced for an pint of guinness and j20 was 11 quid. Would be cheaper in London. Breakfast was ok, but hot food was mostly cold. Bacon and beans were stone cold as were the eggs. Sausages were hot though. Next time I will go to a premier inn.

Overall this hotel is in a great location if you are attending an event at resorts world, and given that I would put up with it again, but I wouldn't stay at this property if I didn't have a need to. My main issue was the bed, even with a mattress topper it was hard. The mattress topper was also too short for the bed, so the pillow sank towards the headboard. Additionally the sheets were too short for the bed and spring free throughout the night. This resulted in me catching a glimpse of the mattress which was covered in black human hairs. There was also screws through the Lino in the floor and bath panel which I find to be rather unhygienic. I had room service, the staff were pleasant, but the food was no better than freezer food.

Absolute joke of a hotel, I tried to change the date as I’ve been unwell (and yes I had insurance.) I was told they would get back to me, and they’ve done that two days after the trip and said, we’re sticking to the original booking, this was all done through hotels.com so won’t be using either every again!! This is the four attempt at submitting the review, clearly write anything negative and it's declined, declined, declined...

I found the hotel and staff to be very pleasant. The accommodation was lovely, a decent size room, very clean, comfy bed and the facilities were ample. The staff were so friendly and what was amazing is that they had enough staff on reception so although the queue was large, I did not have long to wait.

check in was pretty easy. room was ok size not so bid, double bed was good with nice mattress but sofa bed for the child was terrible, very very bad condition, even 2 star hotels like travelodge have better then this. location was ideal so beautiful next to the lake. good enough mall next to building opend till late so its good. parking was big so £10 a night is ok to me.
