Good for value. The room had a faulty toilet flush however, everything else met my expectations if not exceeding them. The receptionist were very helpful one in particular wearing a black hat working a night shift Saturday night - sunday morning.

This is an incredibly small room. No where to put even a cup down. No glasses, cups or side tables. No irons. But clean and good location. Good for 1 night, wouldn’t stay longer.

The air con smelt like burnt rubber so I couldn’t use it, one of the plugs blew up and damaged my charger and nearly short circuited my phone. Do not stay here, the rooms are stuffy, full of smelly people and the lifts are dirty

The room wasn’t very clean. There was hair on the walls of the slower. The floors were sinking in. The beds were very uncomfortable and didn’t feel very clean either

The staff here are amazing and more than make up for the basic amenities. As a wheelchair user, rooms are on the small side. On the negative side, because this is an economy hotel, you literally get all kinds staying (including an idiot who pulled a fire alarm at 3am and another who was smoking pot in their room), but the staff were quick to address issues. The hotel is in city centre, right in the tram line, with easy walking distance to the bus and train stations, Sheffield Hallam and The Moor shopping. Meadowhall and The University of Sheffield are just a few minutes away by tram.

Convenient and comfortable. Did the job nicely.

Fire Alarm ! Middle of the night!

Really disappointing stay. Hadn’t expected too much for price but it was really was budget. Parking was difficult, it would have helped if website had explained there is no parking and that there a tramline outside as well as a one way system. In the pouring rain at night it wasn’t fun trying to find somewhere to park. £20 for carpark 5 mins walk away. Room cold and tiny. No hairdryer, cups or anything. Bed was hard and pillow like cardboard. It was clean and male receptionist was friendly. Would not recommend.

I live in Birmingham. I travelled to Sheffield for a very important appointment and I had a very bad experience. I booked a hotel room online and made a mistake regarding the check-in time. When I arrived at the hotel, I asked if it was possible to change the check-in time, but they refused. I then asked them to adjust the time or refund me so that I could rebook another room, because it was 3 a.m., I was exhausted, and I just wanted to rest. They refused again and told me that I had to book another room or leave the hotel. I had no choice. It was 3 a.m., I didn’t know anyone in the city, so I was forced to book another room and pay a second time. At 10 a.m., they came knocking on my door and asked me to leave the room. I was very surprised and had nowhere to go. I ended up outside, in the cold, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., which was the time of my return train. It was a very bad experience.

Room is a bit small, but price is justified

Lovely staff

The room was a great size for me. Comfortable bed, lovely bathroom. It felt compact and cosy. Was the perfect place for me to rest my head and to explore sheffield for a day.

Very good. Nice clean modern room. Adjustable heating, and a comfy bed. Will visit again.

Staff downstairs was very supportive, and the location/price is awesome.... Safe and easy to commute with ...
